In my opinion, leading an entire Cadian army in a massive assault on a Chaos army (storming trenches, bayoneting the enemy where they stand) to the tune of Disturbed- Indestructible.

Or, one of them was a guy like Alex Mercer going on a rampage while Disturbed- the Curse plays in the background.

Knights of Cydonia - Muse
The cowboy western style music makes it seem very appropriate for racing games and is very good for psyching me up.

Keep on Rolling! - Limp Bizkit
Just generally very easy listening rock, for any occasion.

Athena - DJ Tiesto
The orchestral part that begins at around 4:17 is the calm before the storm which ends with a very hard techno beat that tries to mimic the orchestral sound, it has to be the best "epic time" 3 minutes I know about.

No More Sorrow - Linkin Park
The intro is particularly epic but it goes pretty downhill when the lyrics start.

If a game is good at its core, it doesn't really need outside music. Enter God Of War II and the music that aspires you to wake the legendary phoenix from its slumber.

Cut to 2:43.

This. The first part and last part. (Last part is just like first part, but with twice the epic.)
The middle changes mood and pace a bit, so when I want epic I skip it.

Man I got loads. How about Devils Never Cry for starters? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-KlzfV8_DI

Then there's this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObNCrxgFCUo

And of course this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3PRXFLJYcw Note that there's a slightly different theme for each of the enemies in there, that's 16 different versions.

Oh and the music from this scene too; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XX8Y5-BZLaM

And... pretty much anything by Kamelot works too.

EDIT; Oh yeah and anything by Valve too.

EDIT EDIT; Forgot the best one; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVljywxAjH0

As I said some other time, somewhere else, this is the most epic song ever for me, and it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it:
That's truly wonderful. Where's it from?
As in title, Audio Network made it. They released an album full of epic trailer music, but I don't remember how it was named sadly (and when I knew, it was absurdly hard to find it anywhere).

As for where's it from, I found it in a Heavy Rain trailer included after beating the demo (since it's named 'Mars' I wonder if they picked it because that's the surname of one of the main characters :p):

This trailer (music especially) was one of the main reason, why I got really hyped with HR (and thank Gods, it didn't let me down).

Pretty much anything by Pantera, Alice in Chains or Folk and Black Metal. Also the upbeat Queen songs.
