like the title said if there were some major catastrophy and all the games in the world were destroyed apart from one console a and game of your choice what would they be.

I would probably pick my ps2 and my copy of ff9 to be saved purely because its and awsome game and at least i would get more hours out of it than most games.

edit: pc games count but no modding and there is no online play

Does the PC count?

If yes:

PC and a copy of Oblivion - Go go modding power.

If no:

PS3 and a copy of Oblivion - Meh, I still like the game anyways.

Earthbound. I've played through and level capped no less than 20 times, and I plan to do it another 30 or 40 more.

I'm gona go with this - a PC should count as it is a gaming platform...

But more importantly, its gona be more useful for, you know, surviving a post-apocalyptic world than a gaming console would.

Seriously, if your in a world where we've gona back to the dark ages and your one of the few people left with actual golden age technology, how much of an advantage would that be???

As for the game, I would have to say Rome: Total War.

One console and one game? Jesus, I better get a shotgun to fend of the zombie-nerd horde...

Halo CE. Trains me against a certain zombie horde and I've never gotten bored of the game. I'm gonna go with the most badass computer one could imagine, compact for carrying. I'm going to be able to get messages out there and start a resistance and a society around this bad boy. All based on the Cortana God, and her badass disciple, the Master Chief.

And hopefully those Halo nerds will be better than the current ones. Including me.

I'd choose a PC and a copy of Morrowind. I could keep going for a long time with just that.

Your badass PC would cry if it could only ever play Halo:CE. Just saying.

Well since there is no online, I'll say Dead Rising. I would spend a day in each of the shops trying to defend it until I got bored. The variety of weapons would keep me entertained.

I would save my N64 and Zelda:OoT, damn I love that game. I'm pretty sure I could survive anything the world can throw at me if I have OoT to distract me.

What about DLC? I've got all the PS3 dlc for Saints Row 2, and it makes it much better.

If DLC is alright, Saints Row 2 on my PS3.

If not, probably Oblivion.

for me: TimeSplitters Future Perfect. and a PS2 of course.

I would get map-making down to a T. And if there is no-one to play with, I'll just play with bots!! :D

God I love TS:FP!
