I've been playing the hell out of New Vegas for, oh, since the 1.2 patch came out and fixed the most annoying bugs and let the game shine. And one thing that has always thrown a legitimate pulse-quickening, eyes-narrowing, concentration-enhancing "OK, gotta use all my skill here" feeling into me is any time I see more than a single Deathclaw (like the one in Primm Pass or the one guarding the south train tunnel near Nellis AFB) in one place. Quarry Junction? RESPECT.

So imagine my absolute joy when near Gypsum Train Yard, from the very edge of the draw distance, with my Anti-Materiel Rifle I popped eight (I counted) Deathclaws with eight .50 caliber Match Hand Load rounds. One shot, one kill (hooray for Better Criticals and a couple of ranks of Lord Death). Didn't even trip the [CAUTION] status thanks to the range---just dead silence and a lot of dead Deathclaws. Even picked up an egg for Jas Wilkins in Sloan for my trouble.

And what did I say after the last Deathclaw died? I believe my exact words were "Oh, HELL YEAH!"

For Discussion: Got a cool story, bro? Share!

Last night I wiped out the entire enemy's collection of Sentries, Dispensers and Teleporters with a single Pyro rush, which allowed my team to win the match. Feelsgoodman. (Team Fortress 2)

To be honest, I can't think of one of those moments. Maybe they just don't stick with me or maybe I've never had one quite so powerful.
All I can think of are moments where I was quietly wowed by a beautiful or terrifying twist (Dreamfall: The Longest Journey) in a story or stumped by a moral decision (Mass Effect) or laughed my ass off (Psychonauts).

Maybe that's just the kind of gamer I am. Or maybe I'm just waiting for the right game to make me feel that way.

P.S. Congrats, as I do know how kickass that is. xD

Fallout New Vegas: Playing as my energy weapons guy who has the perk that causes the corona whenever he kills an enemy. I stumbled apon a nest of radscorpions 8-10 of them on the side of a cliff. Went into sneak mode and fired one plasma round and hit one with a sneak critical. It exploded and the corona caused a huge chain reaction of explosions wiping out every single one of them. Bits and pieces were flying through the air. and I was like HELL YEAH!

Playing No More Heroes 2 yesterday. I was fighting Matt Helms. He kept beating me.

Then I got off a combo that filled my ectasy meter and went strawberry on the shortcake on his ass. I screamed "HELL YEAH!" so much my throat hurt afterwards.

The last was probably in Reach mp. I was playing custom Invasion Slayer with some of my group. I was Elites and we were on Tear 3, so the Humans were spamming Scorpions. I snuck along the side of the map (it was Boneyard, I was along the cliff side) to where the tank was. It had a full crew of two and they were bombarding my teams sniping spot, so I jumped down from the roof I was on with the intent to throw some plasma grenades at the tank before I got killed, BUT IT WASN'T FACING ME! They saw me coming and I could hear the two guys going "OH SHIT KILL HIM!" I boarded the tank, planted a plasma grenade, and killed them both. \m/!!!

Little Big Planet 2 yesterday, when I realised just what they have added to it and what can be done with it.

Modern Warfare 2, three days ago I got a double headshot with my Intervention with no attachments, just pure bullet :D
SSF4, playing as the good ol' girl Chun-Li on Medium-Hard vs. Seth in Arcade. 1 win apiece, and he had me down to where my life bar didn't even show up while he had around 90%, and I came back to win with neither an Ultra or a Super :D

Ah, customs. The matchmaking in Reach isn't consistantly phenomenal, unfortunately, but it does still have VERY good high points.

I really like using the games' full range of mechanics, so I try to do things like board tanks whenever possible.

The last "**** YEAH" moment for me was near the begining of a Big Team Slayer game on Spire, and the enemy had the only currently alive Falcon and the Banshee, so my team was about to get completely pulverized from the sky. So, I did the only sensible thing available to deal with the dual-murderplane threat. I jumped at the falcon and skyjacked it. And then the banshee came at me and I... Well, I did this [http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=12728814&player=sdnomdE]. Suffice it to say, the banshee pilot was probably VERY shocked at the outcome.

(I actually managed to pull a similar thing [http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=11246708&player=sdnomdE] off in an Invasion game back in December, too. That time it was arguably even better because it was intentional and urgent, and the move was clearly a major factor in winning the round in that it was when we were finally able to defend our core-carrier effectively.)

I think my most intense moment in Reach's MM system ever though was this [http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=12015091&player=sdnomdE] capture on one-flag on Hemorrhage. Shortly after the teleported I remember shouting through the mic something along the lines of "SOMEONE GET ME A MONGOOSE!"

24 to 3 kill-death ratio on call of duty. Some guy on the mic says don't take my kills dmase, because i got the game winning kill. I say maybe if you where a little bit better i wouldn't have to mop up after your ass.

the Gi tribe leader in the back of Cosmo Canyon in FF7
usually i can take him without having anyone die, but through random bad luck all of his attacks and his two fire minions attacks were all aimed at Barrett and he fainted
"no problem though, i'll just revive him" thought I
then flicking through my magic i came across the 'Life' spell and proceeded to cast it
i am an idiot however and continued to use the old and twitchy PS1 analog stick to choose who it was directed at when i accidentally overshot and cast it on the enemy
"bollocks and bugger" i exclaimed
but it turns out the Gi tribe leader is a zombie
and casting life means instant death

"Oh HELL YEAH" yelled I

Reinstalled Warhammer Mark of Chaos. Still nice graphics for an old game, just finished the empire campaign on normal and slaughtered the final battle. My bright mage (God bless his speedy little boots) was running rampant in the middle of the battle blasting everything. I setup my army outside the castle walls and my artillery was devestating. When the Demon appeared he didn't even make it to my lines thanks to mage and cannon salvo's. Hell Yeah!

(Borderlands) Sniping a turret (Or just about anything) with a scoped and accurate corrosive shotgun. Just stand and fire, don't bother dodging, it will be dead before I need to reload...
Or swap over to the incendiary shotgun... I couldn't figure out why the game valued it so high until I realized it had TWELVE shots before it needed to reload. An entire army can go down and I still have three shots left.

I started replaying Prototype a couple of days ago (I am waiting for Dead Space 2, comes out tomorrow), and it somehow felt awesome when i surfed on a body of a soldier to a group of soldiers, grabbed one of them and bodyslammed him (killing the rest of the group), grabbed the bodyslammed soldier and threw him at the last one left.

Getting the Zodiac Spear (ultimate weapon) in FFXII at level 30 in one try. Oh hell yeah! None in my party could equip it yet, but that was beside the point.
