Nice choices. How about Our Farewell by WT aswell?

For me, as I'm drifting away, I'd want Skynyrds Simple Man playing, where I'd time it right so I went just after the solo.
Thank you, Our farewell is a good choice indeed, so is your choice :). I actually am crazy enough to be gathering a list of songs I would like to play in my funeral. But that's another story.

No emo crap? You just ruled out two-thirds of my music collection, probably more. Ok, let's see.

... You ruled out my entire music collection, damn you! The only non-emo songs I have are songs from my childhood Disney movies!

So screw it, I'm choosing Carry Me Down by Demon Hunter.

Either the M.A.S.H theme "Suicide is Painless", or "F.O.D" or "Having a Blast" by Greenday

Time by Pink Floyd
The sun is the same in a relative way but you´re older.
Shortage of breath and one day closer to death.
Nah you've gotta go for Comfortably Numb, best Floyd song. Epic Songs none the less. However in that situation I would have to say Mad Season.

Since someone already said "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen, so I have to really put my thinking cap on:

"Hooked on a Feeling" - Performed by a Brass Quartet (million cookies for impossible reference)

"The Fall" - The Protomen

Here Comes the Arm - The Protomen

Garden-Pearl Jam. the song is about accepting death and it's the best thing they have ever done.

it's hard for me to pick, there a lot of songs like that for me, so i'll name a few

Poets of the Fall ~ The Poet and The Muse ((pretty much anything by PotF, actually))

the part in Slipknot's 'I Am Hated' where Corey says "Now I'm not pretty, and I'm not cool. I'm fat and I'm ugly and proud so fuck you."

Stone Sour - Come What(ever) May

PM5K - Show Me What You Got

Steve Conte & The Crazy Truth - This Is The End

those are just to name a very very select few off the top of my head

who's gonna save my soul ow by gnarls barkley partly for irony and well its fitting the opening lines are "got some bad news this moring"

who cares also by gnarls barkley the chorus is "and i could go on and on and on, but who cares"

but in seriousness wo bist du by rammstein
