What were the last three games you bought? How much did they cost? Were they worth it? Why?

I'll go first.

I bought Worms 2: Armageddon (recent PSN/PS3 version) a few weeks ago. It's a lot of fun, and it cost me 15 bucks. Mostly due to a spotty internet connection, I've had trouble playing online, but I've had a good time playing with family and friends on three occasions so far, and I will likely get a lot more out of the game as time goes on. It's definitely worth it to me.

I bought Etrian Odyssey 3 (DS) about a week ago. It was 30 bucks, and it's exactly the kind of RPG I love to play (low on story, high on system). I played the first two games, and this one is a serious upgrade in my opinion. I'd be willing to pay 50 or 60 bucks for it, so, sweet deal as far as I'm concerned.

I bought Costume Quest on PSN less than a week ago for 15 bucks. It's really short and easy, but genuinely funny. It's also a really cool idea.. but goddamn, the battles got very boring for me very early on. By the end, I was slogging through, just completing it for its own sake.. and this is a very short (~5 hours) game I'm talking about. I felt ripped off, but then again, five hours is at least two average movies.. and I did "LOL" numerous times.. and my daughter LOVES it. All in all, it enhanced her Halloween experience, and it's a nice introductory RPG which she can actually complete on her own. Worth the money, for me and my family.

What about y'all?

Let me refresh my memory:

1) Halo: Reach - immensely enjoyable bastard, with really supportive developers and great amounts of content for my money. And I got it pretty cheap, too.

2) Fifa 11 - not that different from 09, still extremely fun and playable, refined passing, I liked it.

3) F1 2010 - too early to judge, but, since it's Formula One, it's good enough already.

probably Breath of Death VIII Only a dollar, and more fun than some JRPG style RPGS. the demo kind of tricked me making me think more story time to dungeon ratio than I thought. But still only a dollar and more fun than any of the Dragon Quest games. ::hides;:
Alpha Protocol- bought this for 45 dollars and probably beat it at least three or four times. Probably one of my favorite games now even though some reviews seemed to hate it.
Fallout New Vegas- got a free strategy guide, but TONS OF BUGS AND GLITCHES. I almost think I would have been better off waiting for more patches and for maybe getting the game a bit cheaper. Still a great game but out of the three, this one comes the closest to regret. Even though I would still buy this one, maybe I just bought it too soon.

Dead Rising 2 - hated it because of how boring it was, it was also over hyped.

Farcry 2 - this was allright but it could have been much more.

Starcraft 2 - Starcraft is a pretty good game, the campaign was great and I enjoyed it alot. The only bad thing is that whenever I try to go play online I get swarmed everytime.

Mass Effect 2 - Yes, one of the most wonderful games I've ever played (and the first one bored me to tears)
Fallout: New Vegas - A thousand times yes!

Ace Combat 6: Only played the first mission. Failed the second mission. Looks good, haven't seen enough yet.

Bully Scholarship Edition: Yes. Beat it in three days and still play, trying to get all the extras, beat races, etc.

MLB 2k10: Best baseball sim, not named MLB The Show. Could be better, but its way better than its predecessors.

Reach - My new multiplayer game for the next three to four years most likely. So yes.
New Vegas - Kind of. Wish it had more polish but a good game nonetheless.
Fable III - Yep. Hope the DLC is better than Fable II's though...

Heavenly Sword - Yes. It wasn't very long, it wasn't the best but I enjoyed playing it. Probably won't go back to it, but it was worth the seven quid I paid.

Halo: Reach - No. Enjoyed the campaign, but the multiplayer that's meant to hold all the time you paid for was poo-pants.

Plants Vs. Zombies - Yes. I've got so much time out of that game it's ridiculous.

Fable 3: It's fable.
Amnesia: At first it scared the S**t out of me but now it's more of a puzzel game (not a bad thing)
Also I got DR2 off my friend and gave it back to him in a day... IT'S BORING!!!

From oldest to newest:

Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions
Immensely enjoyable, and luckily not a sand box for once

Enslaved: Journey to the West
Not much replay value in it, but still a great experience with especially compelling characters.

Team Fortress 2
Too early to tell, really. I wanted to know what all the jazz was about, it was on sale on Steam, and so my curiosity finally got the better of me. Haven't played online yet, still trying to get the hang of all the different classes, and at the moment university is eating up my time like a big hungry monster.

Red Faction: Guerrilla. I paid ten bucks for it used, so sure, it was worth it.

BioShock 2. Wasn't a big fan (it felt really unnecessary and not especially fresh), but I got it for twenty bucks, since I had a gift card that covered half the cost. I'm on the fence.

Left 4 Dead 2. The maps are surprisingly enjoyable, but it was a touch expensive. I'd say I'm leaning towards yes though.

Fable 3: Finished it. Enjoyed it. Will revisit it.
New Vegas: Played it for about 12 hours so far. Then I got Fable 3. I knew Fable would take a fraction of the time New Vegas would, so I put this one aside until, like, now.
Medal of Honor: As generic shooters go, this one was pretty good. But then again, it's a generic shooter.
