Last three games I purchased:

Red Dead Redemption - Haven't yet played it, but obviously great praise and really enjoyed playing it for a short while at a friends so YES

Orange Box - I was simply replacing it as my ex got the copy we had in our breakup. So... YES.

Limbo - Although it wasn't massively long, I really enjoyed the sick humor. And I hate spiders, so it totally creeped me out. So YES.

I'm actually happy with all my purchases - this is great news!

Sol Survivor - a very addictive tower defense game with support for both LAN and internet multiplayer. I bought it on Steam, and could afford to give copies to 4 of my friends. So many good games so far!

Plants vs Zombies - I'm hooked. I need to kill zombies everyday now. Even more addictive than Sol Survivor! Seriously, I was very scpetical of how much I would enjoy this, but I have 36 hours racked on this game so far... wow...

And Bioshock. I haven't played it yet, but I'm sure I have a classic here. Or so everyone tells me. In any case,I amlooking forward to playing it... once I get some more Plants vs Zombies out of my system...

Castlevania Symphony of the Night(XBLA) - 10 euros(800 points), still not sure if it was worth it, I got it for free* so I can't really complain but I haven't played it as much as I normally would play a new game.

Banjo Kazooie(XBLA) - 15 euros(1200 points), one of my favourite N64 games so definitely worth it, but again, I haven't played it as much as I normally would have.

Trinity Universe - 55 euros(over my self-imposed limit of 40 euros, but it's a rare exception) great game, spent most of my free time playing it since I got it a few weeks ago.

*[sub]Traded in some games a while ago, got a game, a 20 euro PSN card and 2100 MS points for it(guess which games I bought with the MS points), so not exactly free but all it cost me were a few games I haven't played in years.[/sub]

Tales of the Abyss:$20 and defiantly worth it,it has the tales series staples of awesome combat characters and side quests.

Shadow of the Colossus: For $6.you bet your ass it's worth it.

Dragon Quest 4: $17 and again totally worth it for some old school goodness even if I'm still stuck on a boss becasue I'm to lazy to level up.

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare - Brilliant. I was a little bit dubious about if/how Rockstar would make zombies fit into the world of Red Dead, but they've pulled it off with style and a real sense of dark humour. Cost 800 Gamerpoints.

Fallout: New Vegas - Even with the little glitches and niggles, I will be playing and replaying this game for quite some time to come. Cost £35.

Halo: Reach - Bungie's swansong for the Halo series was worth every penny. Finally, a Halo game with no Flood... Cost £50 (Limited Edition).

Civ V - Yes, love this game :)

MoH - No, looked good.... just wasn't. Wasn't particularly bad saying that though.

Witcher - Not really. Possible because I played it for an hour and it crash and cba to start it up again >_>

Mass Effect - worth it.
Mass Effect 2 - the graphics are better. can't say about the rest.
BFBC2 - meh; this is not BF2 worthy... why did I think it would be, anyway
L4D2 - it's a dumb game, but nothing beats kicking some zombie horde ass, so yes.

I'm going to use the last 3 new games into my household, because we're Care Bears and share things like games.

My husband bought Knights of the Old Republic for us on Steam (which I have moaned about elsewhere).
It was all of £5 or so. I guess it was worth that amount to shut him up, but personally, I'm not impressed.
Verdict: No

I bought Mass Effect 2 for my husband's birthday.
I had my usual "fuck Bioware" moments throughout, but actually really enjoyed it, and so did my husband, although for £20 I expected a hot steamy sex scene. Certainly a VAST improvement on the first.
Verdict: Yes

My husband bought me Final Fantasy 13 as an "I love you present".
I wouldn't say it's a great Final Fantasy, as it's extremely linear even by JRPG standards, but I've really enjoyed it and I don't understand why people hate it so much.
Verdict: Yes

Oldest to newest:

Halo Reach - the campaign was superb, and I don't see myself needing another multiplayer shooter for a good couple of years. More than worth the money.

Fallout: New Vegas - I adore this game; it's everything I hoped it would be and more. The performance issues it has with nVidia cards were annoying at first, but I found a fix on the New Vegas Nexus site, and since then everything's been peachy. Worth at least double the £29 I spent on it.

GTA: Episodes from Liberty City (a little late to the party, I know) - The Lost and Damned's been pretty good so far, and I'm looking forward to The Ballad of Gay Tony. At £12 it was a steal.

New Vegas (PC) - worth every single cent.

Borderlands DLC 4 - should have waited for the patch, but otherwise somewhat decent.

Minecraft - It wasn't a bad deal when I purchased it, and it will only improve in value.

Lets see;

Red Dead Redemption: Well, I've clocked over 100 hours in it so far, so what does that say about it to you? FUCK YEA.

Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver: I bought them together and gave my girlfriend Heart Gold, and we've been playing together non-stop since I bought it a few weeks ago. Absolutely worth every penny.

Undead Nightmare: Technically it's DLC for Red Dead Redemption, but all I say to that is fuck you! There's so much depth and detail within it, with new a singleplayer story, multi-player game modes, new costumes, animals and, oh yeah, ZOMBIES, it's got a lot to offer. Considering I got it all for 15 bucks I'd say it's totally worth it.

Hm...
Amnesia: VERY good game, wasnt as "scary" as I thought it would be, but the sound is amazing and I like the exploration and puzzles, so...yes yes yes. It was about 20 bucks at the time.

Bioshock: Just getting around to play/buying it, and im a bit dissapointed. The gameplay is fun, but something isnt exactly "clicking" with me about it. Not sure...maybe my expectations were a bit high? I dont regret buying it, its just a bit different from what I expected.

Dead space: Just getting around to buying this one as well. Bought it on steam, so its the computer port. While the controls take a bit to get use to, the gameplay works just about as good as in the 360(rented it for 360 a while back). Loving it so far, I like how the main story involves a religion that is pretty much a parody of scientology.

Bought both Bioshock and Dead Space on a sale on steam so I cant remember the specific price of each. Both costed about 15 dollers though, so I believe I got much much more more for less, so to speak.

Hmm, let's see.

New Vegas: Yeah, worth it, shame about the bugs and after how many hours I poured into Fallout 3, shame about the lack of replayability for me.

Starcraft 2: Yeah, I still get a fair amount of enjoyment out of it now, even if I do tend to get stomped in 1v1 because I get paired with people infinitely better than me...And I got gold league'd after my 5 placement matches even though I'm utterly undeserving and played against complete morons.

Penumbra Overture: I wouldn't say so purely because I've only really been bothered to play it for about an hour at the most, maybe when I get into it a bit more, I'll warm up to it.

Splinter Cell Conviction - got it due to high praise, while the game is alright the story was completely uninteresting to me and didn't draw me back at all, sold the game after one day

Darksiders - was very skeptical, but there was a major discount so I got it, and I haveto say the game surprised me, it is incredibly good, for me it goes beyond GoW because they had the guts to cut out the stupidity of button-mashing and quick-time events

Fallout: New Vegas - I intended to wait for a price cut but I couldn't help myself not having it, while I do love it, it's not worth the full price because they only put a new skin on Fallout 3, they didn't fix a single problem in the engine.
So if you haven't yet played Fallout 3 get that first, and wait for this one to go down in price as it is only an expansion.
