Amnesia: The Dark Descent - From what I have played so far, it is a very gritty and deep game involving me turn off my lights and put headphones in to play it. I've never played a horror game before, and I am quite entertained thus far.

Plants vs Zombies: Game of the Year Edition - Er, yeah, this game is incredible. For the past couple weeks or so, I haven't been able to put it down. I just beat the Adventure mode a couple days ago, and already I am itching to get back into it. Who knew such a simple concept coule be so much fun? Oh wait, Pop Cap did.

Borderlands - I haven't played this one nearly as much as I should, but from what I have played, it is very fun! I started as Roland, the Soldier, just because I would enjoy the concept of having a little Scorpio turret to fight along side me. My roommate has been guiding me through a bit of the story, what with his level 30+ Lilith, but I've been wanting to explore a bit of it on my own. I've just been looking for a time to get back into it.

STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl- Great game, got it cheap, but it refuses to run now for some reason

Worms Reloaded- Great fun, worth it

Fallout NV- Good game, good modding, though the new geck is a little frustrating at times.

Half-life source: I'm enjoying it so far.

Left 4 Dead pack: I've been wanting this since I played the left 4 dead 2 demo. Very, very fun.

Super Scribblenauts: Pretty good. Yahtzee's comment about summoning Cthulu and huge boulders every other level is definitely not valid in super scribblenauts.

Fable III...yes defiantly worth the money I paid for it!

Spectrobes:Origins...bought it for 14 dollars new so it was pretty cheap. I kind of bought it on a whim but it's a fun game so far....I would say worth it.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep....worth it also..probably my favorite game out of the whole Kingdom Hearts series...

God of War Ghost of Sparta:
It was an awesome, albeit short, ride from beginning to end. It had a decent story but I personally think Chains of Olympus is better in that regards. GoS has better gameplay and everything else though, and some of the set pieces are just awesome. It also gets extra points for the fact that it DIDN'T have you go through Hades for the 100th time.

Ys Oath in Felghana:
Really fun and really difficult action RPG with a great, simplistic story. It's even furthur motivated me to play more Ys games and can't wait to get the upcoming 1&2 Chronicles game and grab a copy of 6. Final Boss was fucking HARD though, but epic none the less.

ZHP- Unlosing Ranger Vs Darkdeath Evilman:
I've only just recently started it as it was on the back burner as I finished the other two games, but so far it's great. It's a NIS game, so it's packed with all that quirky humor, ridiculous premises, Grindtastic gameplay, and just overall charming. It combines dungeon crawling with SRPGs and makes a really fun and deep game further enhanced by all the upgrade systems and stuff. And you can play it over 40 MILLION TIMES!!! so far so good.

Fallout: New Vegas - Haven't gotten to play it enough to decide. From what I've played it's pretty fun.

Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition - Awesome game, definitely worth it.

Tales of Symphonia - I could have paid $100 for this game and it would still be worth it. My favorite game of all time, easily.

Artemis: starship bridge simulator - YES, ton of fun with my mates+beers at a LAN

Front-mission: Evolved - NO, I'm a sucker for mechs, but the camera is too close and the combat is too frantic and not fluid enough. The game does not live up to the gameplay trailers, there isn't really any way to get decent combat awareness due to your mech taking up at least a third of the screen. I've watched videos for Vanquish and cry that they cancelled PC release.

Not sure what else I bought it was either Fallout 3(with DLC), or Mass Effect 1.
Bargain prices so yea was well worth it, shame it took me this long to play them. LOVED the story in mass effect and I really enjoyed my time in capitol wasteland, the story wasn't amazing but individually there's lots of fun quests and bits to the game.

I play old games almost exclusively, because I am A) a poor college student and B) I like quality games. So my most recent purchases were:

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Was it worth it? ...I cannot even express in words how very very much worth it this game was! It is fantastic.

Batman: Arkham Asylum Worth it? Ohhhhh yeah.

Star Wars: Force Unleashed Worth it? Haven't even started playing it yet. But probably not all that much worth it. I do like me some Jedi powers, but... I really just bought it because it was super cheap on that big LucasArts sale a while back. Time will tell, but I'm concerned I'm going to dislike it.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Bundle - I've only played about six hours of Shadow of Chernobyl, but I'm loving it so far. Hard as hell, and a little overwhelming at times, but so fun. Too bad I tried the second game just to check the graphics, it runs like absolute shit on my computer.

Team Fortress 2 - Hell yes. Everything about it kicks ass.

Archetype (iPhone FPS) - It seems pretty damn good, I've only played one online game so far, a 5 on 5 shotguns-only match. Best FPS controls I've ever used on an iPod Touch, for sure, and the multiplayer is very smooth. Worth a buck.

Black Ops--At least for now, I'm having fun (until the campers/glitchers figure out how to break stuff), so yeah, it was worth it.

Fallout: New Vegas--Are you kidding me? OF COURSE IT WAS WORTH IT. I'm going to get a ridiculous amount of fun out of this game. It's awesome.

MineCraft--I haven't actually gotten into it all that much... yet. I'm pretty sure that it'll get its hooks into me sooner or later, but for now I'm not entirely sure of the appeal. However, I don't regret spending the money to support an independent developer, particularly when MineCraft is probably just an hour or two away from getting addictive.

Let's see:
Fable 3-kinda. It seems like theres some new DLC coming out, so maybe if the patch that comes with it fixes some of the bugs.

Halo: Reach- Yes. I liked the campaign, and the multiplayer was the source of many a good time, until about a month ago, when we just stopped playing it.

Mass Effect 2-Yes. Hell yes.

EDIT: Actually I got Starcraft 2 after ME2, so it's still a massive YES.

Worth it?

Okami - HELL YES, i had tons of fun with it.

Minecraft - Yes. Dont have much time to spend on it, wich is too bad.

Starcraft 2 - Meh, no. I dont like competitive mp so it was a waste of money for me.
