I bought Worms 2: Armageddon (recent PSN/PS3 version) a few weeks ago. It's a lot of fun, and it cost me 15 bucks. Mostly due to a spotty internet connection, I've had trouble playing online, but I've had a good time playing with family and friends on three occasions so far, and I will likely get a lot more out of the game as time goes on. It's definitely worth it to me.
I find the old Worms Armageddon to be very much superior... like some of the new stuff, but just hate how you can't change so many of the game settings. And the UI has console port written all over it (which they pretty much said themselves, but it's painfully obvious anyway) which I really, really hate. As cheap as it is and as nice it is to finally get a game that works out of the box on a W7, it's still not worth the upgrade imo :\
OT:
Fallout New Vegas - God yes. I'll admit, I enjoyed Fallout 3's setting more as the story/atmosphere felt so much bigger (you're saving the entire area rather than just siding with and solving faction bickering), but the game's still awesome and well worth the price. I'm biased however as Morrowind-style games are just a dream come true to me (huge open world) and aside from Oblivion and F3, there isn't really a single game like it. The game is awesome on it's own however, the story's interesting and there's a lot of cool (though ambiguous and hard to make) choices and well, just about everything that comes with a huge open world game is done right as far as I'm concerned. There's lots of room for improvement in different areas (more songs for the radio etc.) but none of it really bothers me too much or stops me from enjoying the game... and there's probably gonna be a buttload of mods coming soon to remedy most if not all of the shortcomings.
Civilization 5 - Ah, this is a tough one. Lemme get the good out of the way first. I love the game. It's an enjoyable game. I've played Civ 3 before (even recently) and there's so many improvements (I know, a lot of them came with 4, but still) and the gameplay feels truly awesome. The thing is though, I would like about 5 minutes with whomever is responsible for the optimization. Or just 2 seconds to punch them in the face. And maybe kick them in the groin. Would also like to slap the people responsible for rushing the release and leaving a ton of bugs in the game. You've noticed I've not mentioned bugs in Fallout: NV at all and you know how all the reviews cite it as a main flaw. Lemme put it this way, F: NV is a Godsend and the bugs are barely noticeable. Civ 5 on the other hand has them pouring out of every orifice and that's not just the "only happens on some strange systems" and shit like that, they're bugs everyone's experiencing that any half assed game testing could squash before they could get a chance to grab their morning coffee. Most are not gamebreaking (although there are a few of those gems as well), but it's just a... disgrace to see something like that in a mainstream title with so much experience behind it. Optimization though... that's just beyond inexcusable.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Definite yes. I love the Battlefield series and although I very much prefer the old style of grand battles in the non-Bad Company ones, with ships, air units etc., BF:BC2 gets a LOT of things right and easily makes it my top and well worth the price online FPS. Again, there are things that could be improved (some game breaking bugs on the added maps, more maps for variety etc.) but again, nothing that makes the game unplayable or hard to enjoy.
