It really depends on what type of game I'm playing but I prefer utility classes since I like to have lots of tricks at my disposal so these would include rangers, mages, paladins, clerics, and bards. My least played? The melee glass cannons and I'm not talking about a rogue I'm talking about beserkers since they have no real utility outside of beating things senseless as fast as possible in hope that they won't be taken down quickly. At least with a rogue class you have a chance at killing an enemy outright and often have some tricks like setting traps and poisoning enemies.

I don't play mages, or healers, or anything of the like.

The only time I've ever played a mage willingly was in Guild Wars, because fire elementalist was AMAZING.

I prefer running up to things and hitting them in the face with a sword.

Probably Warriors. Usually because I assume they'll be boring to play. I prefer the idea of conjuring eruptions of fire underneath my enemies' feet or calling upon the infinite powers of infiniteness to bashing enemies with swords. Although if the warrior class has some flashy abilities I'll usually give one a try after my magey class.
