So whats is your most badass character to ever grace a virtual world with his prescience? Possibly some sort of powerful force of justice who incites terror to those who displease his judgement? Or a ruthless murderer who uses brutal tactics to crush the opposition? Tell us a story of his or her awesomeness.
You don't only have to choose from video games either, you could use a notably kickass d&d character too.

My latest character in fallout 3 is probably my most manly masculine ballsy badass kackass testosterone fuelled motherhubber to ever tread across the scorched earth of the capitol wasteland. His philosophy is to pursue the most inhospitable environments he can and use only his bear fists to beat up the challenge. On top of that he can use no armor (or clothes for that matter), or explosive devises of any kind including grenades or mines. He also uses no allies, because manliness shared is manliness removed. Oh and its on very hard mode too, as if that makes any difference in fallout 3.

That would usually be enough, but since it turned out that was actually quite easy once you get past level 6 so I decided I had to mod the game out to be harder. So using custom settings in Marts Mutant Mod I have made the wasteland completely insufferable. The setting named "increased spawns" makes it so that each place where once enemy would have spawned instead 1-3 enemies can spawn. Then there is the setting that I used called "Increased Indeased spawns" where it makes 2-5 enemies per spawn. Which is horrible when you would have only had to fight 5 raiders but now you have to fight 10-25 dudes with only your bare fists, no armor grenades or allies. And that is why Boris Lebadev, my character, is just cool.

Lets hear yours! I wanna hear stories of manly ballsy buff beefy burly awesomeness!

My fallout character before I sold the game, he was The Neo Confederate. His job was to hunt down runaways save the people and bring law to the land.....ironically he used lincoln's rifle.

I wonder if this thread was really an attempt at getting our opinion, or just a chance to show off your fallout character :p. But anyways..I guess saying Shepard from mass effect would make me an uninspired loser...soooo..Deathspank. :D

Auron off FFX. Either him or Maximilian off Dark chronicle/Dark cloud 2. He has his own mech and he beats the shit into people with a wrench. A wrench.

The Argonian named Zukan in Oblivion.
He is a fast and energetic sword wielding sorcerer who can run at huge speeds and jump across the surface of the water and can rapidly heal without any difficulty because he mastered healing from habitually spamming the heal spell while jumping everywhere.

He is, without question, a part time lover, part time reader, part time potion maker, part time acrobat, part time friend, part time Blade, part time celebrity, part time explorer.... and a full time BADASS.

My Dark Brotherhood Khajiit in Oblivion (name unremembered) was pretty epic. During the period where you're doing the dead drop kill missions, I had one where I picked up the quest, and immediately got told I'd finished it. I re-read the name, wondering how he'd died, then realised it was the person I'd killed before joining the Dark Brotherhood. I also followed the Mage's Guild quests long enough to unlock enchanting, and had created a custom suit of armour which gave me 100% chameleon permanently. Once I'd reached that point, it kind of eliminated the whole "difficulty" thing. Being totally invisible when the AI never uses any abilities which counter the effect and having sneak skill already up to the point of silent running didn't hurt. The only time I was located was when I hit someone, and by the time they'd turned (I was always behind them) I wasn't there any more.

But he was outclassed severely by Company Commander Garret Blacknova, a renegade Comstar Adept who formed a mercenary company composed entirely from stolen Achileus Battle Armour. His first step toward fame was when he was the sole survivor of a unit and managed to single-handedly defeat an entire Star of Medium Clan Mechs. Crowning moment of that battle was him jumping over a Kit Fox (Uller), firing in mid-air at its back, and managing to catch a ***** in the armour through which a single bullet travelled, managing to almost cause a chain reaction in the Mech's fusion reactor, and forcing immediate shutdown. He took possession of that Mech (and its pilot. Arguing with a .50cal machinegun isn't sensible for someone with survival instincts and no armour), and sold it to fund his recruiting drive. It was a GOOD start to a career as a mercenary. He earned a reputation for daring and successful assaults on Mech units, and also for training the best Battle Armour troops around. By the time of his death (going toe-to-toe without backup against a Mad Dog-D (Vulture) Clan Mech turned out to be a mistake), his 2IC was as skilled a marksman as he was, and she took over the company. Her unstable personality resulted in her eventually taking the majority of the company to their deaths beside her, however, in an ill-fated assault on a Star of Clan Mechs much like those Blacknova had defeated right before he formed the company. It was, in fact, another Kit Fox which ended Commander Joanna Farquharson's life.

This second one was in Classic Battletech with optional RPG rules (just to clarify, NOT the Mechwarrior RPG game, the optional RPG and mercenary company rules added to regular CBT)

Damn that was a wall of text right there...

I tend to play as the archer/rogue classes, so none of mine are all that badass per sé, however I did replay KotOR going for all the evil dark-side options, being a complete bastard to everyone, then pumping all my skill points into stupidly overpowered dark force powers. The game was pretty easy once I'd maxed out lightning and drain :p

Well, when i reached lvl 30 with my fallout char, i realized i was maxed out in every form of combat in the game. My character was dumb as a sack of wet mice, but i'll be goddamned if he couldn't kill you with everything, from everywhere, at all times. Then i found that hidden perk (glitch?) in the swamp, and after hunting down ghouls, became something truly terrifying, a man in t51b armor, at lvl 30, with a chinese assault rifle that could do over 150 damage lol. You don't want to know what my other weapons could do.

This. My best RPG character was a female human warrior from Dragon Age: Origins, but it feels a bit masturbatory to write her up like you have with your guy. So I won't. Just know that she kicked some serious butt when she needed to. She had a little over 50% of all damage done by the party to her credit, and even on Nightmare difficulty she was essentially an immortal killing machine, dual blades reaping through any Darkspawn in her path.

And I would have modded the game if I could, but I have the game on PS3. If I had it on PC though, I would totally have run around slaughtering monsters while anatomically correctly naked. :p

Ea'era N'tra

The Brenton Rouge Mage.

Specialising in light weapons he carries only a sword and wears light armour. But every piece of clothing is imbued with magic of his own creation. Be it a ring giving him the eyes of a hawk at night, or a set of greaves that make him impervious to fire.

Along with his fabled sword he carries a great many spells with him. Some of the most powerful of his creation. Stories say he can run faster and jump higher than any man. Not only is he an accomplished spell caster, but also a master assassin. With potions that will kill a man in a drop, and spells to make him invisible, he is the most potent weapon in all of Tamriel.

He lives according to his own code. Occasionly takingjobs or quests when the fancy takes him. He makes his fortunes by hunting for treasures in dangerous caves, ruins, or even in other dimensions. Legend says he has been to Oblivion more times than any other man put together. Indeed he has closed 60 oblivion gates by himself.

Just so I know, what game is this? Because this game, and your character, sounds awesome.

BTW the entire purpose of this thread is to boast about their characters. And some of the stories we have so far are pretty cool.
