Saddest, The ending of Final Fantasy X or the ending of Half Life 2: Episode 2

Immersive,Mirrors Edge-I know, I know a lot of people hated it but the feeling of running really fast over rooftops just takes it for me.

Greatest,- Mass Effect, love that game loved every second of it (despite it's faults)

Greatest hmmm, probably solo'ing NK-Necrosis in Star Wars Galaxies before all the recent updates making each class god like in their own way.
As for that last bit "Making them all god like." Is a very, very sad moment in its own right.

I had a TKM/Doctor class, and all the achievement was erased in a fortnight.

Immersive: Silent Hill 1. it scares the bejeesus out of me the whole time I was playing.

Emotional: the endings of FFX or FFXpart2, or some of the Rinoa scenes in FFVIII. Does cries when playing.

Greatest: Building an unstoppable juggernaut ship on Naval Ops: Warship Gunner, and annihilating navies.

watching one of the characters in Valkyrie profile unknowingly wish the death of his friend because he wanted her to be with her parents(who were dead), those who dont cry are heartless and lack a soul D=

Saddest

Final Fantasy X ending. I sniffled.
I cried. So did all of my friends who played through it. Everytime I watch it I still get a tear in my eye, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. It just overwhelmes me everytime.

One other moment I have to add for immersion has to be Far Cry 2. Hell, I've sshed friends while creeping through the grass while preparing my attack on an outpost.

Greatest: Escaping from the giant mechanical spider in Final Fantasy 8. I was s oyoung that I actually thought that was the end of the game.

Most immersive: Probably the entire CoD4 campaign (if that counts), especially the nuke...

Saddest: Finishing Final Fantasy 8. Not because the ending itself was sad, but because I didn't WANT it to end.

Final Fantasy 8, A personal favorite! And that run from the giant mech spider is indeed very awesome!

The saddest moment in my gaming "career", and the only one to make me cry, was a scene from Planescape: Torment (which is incidentally the best game ever made, but don't mind me), in which you look at the memories (through a magical orb) of a dead young woman you shamelessly used and made believe that you loved her. Doesn't sound all too great here, but the naivety and the unconditional love she felt for you makes reading this excellently written scene extremely painful.
Deionarra, I remember her. It certainly didn't help things that her theme was playing in the background as I recall and it's a particularly haunting piece.

I love how throughout Planescape: Torment you're slowly piecing together the story of past incarnations, some hero, some completely insane (Like the one who leaves behind death-traps for himself... err, you!), and other evil personified such as the one who manipulated Deionarra. Fantastic story.

Ending to that game was pretty sad as well, but I don't want to risk giving it away.

I can also remember the ending to most of the Ace Combat games...

{That one fight in Ace Combat 4 against the Air Burst fighter was a pain in the ass!}

Saddest: The end of Kingdom Hearts 1. Hands down, I teared up a little. Bear in mind I was like 11.

Greatest:
Beating the thousand heartless on KH2
Beating CoD4 on Veteran
or
Going Though Fallout 3 without any bad karma.

I didn't weep or get emotional during, but after I played it I had sort of a moment of "What happened?" when I beat Apollo Justice.

Phoenix's life had completely fallen in the toilet at the beginning of the game, and hasn't improved much by the end. Also! What happened to the Feys?

Hmm. This is a good subject... but tough to answer...

Lemmee see.

Emotional moment: The good ending to Silent Hill 2 & after the fight with Sniper Wolf in Metal Gear Solid.

Most immersive: I spent far too long playing Oblivion and Fallout 3... and trying to get everything in Metroid Prime is kinda crazy...

Greatest moment: When I beat Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country 2 without any help. (I was about 7, and incredibly proud of myself)

Completing C&C for the 1st time with NOD and having the option of destroying some wold monument for my memory

saddest i don't want to say FFx as it has been but i carnt really think of anything else was kinda sad that Cptn Price got shot in the head at the end of modern warfare

Mass Effect! THAT decision............... Not gonna lie, I cried (every time) :'(
May you please clarify on what decision you mean?
There is a trigger point in the game where you have to make a tough decision (don't know how to do the 'spoiler', thing and didn't want anyone having the game ruined cos of me and my big mouth, lol) so I can PM you, or if someone can tell me how to do the spoiler I'll do that :) Thankees in advance

Maya is the Master of the Kurain channeling technique. Mia is, well, dead, and I guess that Misty is, too. I am, however wondering, where Iris is. I mean, I would've guessed for her and Phoenix to get married or something, after the third game.

Saddest for me was the ending in Terranigma. Seriously, I was really upset.

Most immersive, pretty much any old racing game I played when I was a kid and I used to lean as I steered my car around as if it helped or something. I'd say that's pretty much the definition of being "sucked in".

Greatest, that'd probably be playing Omikron on the PC. It was my first real taste of the "sandbox" gameplay style, and it blew my mind, even if it's pretty shallow by today's standards.
