Well one of my most recent battles was on BFBC2. I had a shotgun with slugs (NEO2000) and this annoying UH-60 kept flying over us shooting so i got pissed and decided to kill them.
He made the mistake of flying low (bad news for him and his team)
I shot the pilot right out of it with one shot (wasnt a headshot but a one hit kill nonetheless) it crashed next to me off the cliff close enough for me to walk to it so i did.
i threw some C-4 on the hull and set it off, another 2 kills.
I then proceeded down into the smoke and found but one surviver,i had to change that... A moment later,4 kills for me and the point benefit for destroying an enemy helo. I win.

If they fly low enough i can shoot them out no matter how fast they're going. I only hope that its a one hit kill when i do connect a bullet.

Loads of Heroic Victories in RTW. It's one of the best games for it.

Example: I had a massive army, and so did the enemy. About half of my army was cavalry, but I managed to waste them through a mistake and they all routed off the field except for one squad with 15 members. I took the remaining troops and ran them all up to the top of a small hill, where I made my stand... and won!

I remember playing Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne aaggeees ago!
I was on battle.net in a two v.s two. Both sides had decided to creep, which is how I like to play :p, once we were about to go in and attack my team-mate left and I though I was totally screwed. I had control of his units but he was using the undead which is my worst race. But anyways I sent in his forces to one of their bases (they were both humans) while I (playing as the mighty orcs) continued to build forces.
I managed to buy some time and I had a nice army made of Taurens, a Far Seer (level 6), Dreadlord (level4) and a few shamans with bloodlust. By this time they had a massive army made of a lot of rifle men and gryphon riders. However, I had used my friends base to made a large amount of crypt fiends and sent them into their group of gryphon riders and webbed everyone one of the bastereds!!! >:)
I then sent in the dread lord with my taurens and went to town of their army, by now my friends base was gone and those gits had built towers. My gold mines were gone and I had no money :(. I sent in my far seer and used eaurth to bgin destroying the towers. By the time my army had been defeated my far seer was level nine, and they only had a hero (level 8 paladin) and some knights.
I had now destroyed one base but the other was still making some units, but I got rid of the towers. Because of my potions I had aquired I manage to take out their hero and the knights and took great pride to my victory by sending in my peons just to rub it in. :D :D :D
It lasted about 2 hours which is the longest Battle I have ever known on b.net, but it was worth it! And how do I remember it you ask? I saved the replay :D and whenever I feel as though I can;t go on when playing A strategy game I just look back on that victory :)
If you had the attention span to read that then well done :p

Another battle was on Dead Space,I decided to go for 2 achievments:Beat the game with only the pistol and beat the game on the hardest difficulty at the same time. Mission accomplished. I also got the Beat the slug boss with 50% shield remaining achievment as well. Another perk lol
The only thing that was a bother was the damn babies! BULLETPROOF BABIES!!!
It was like someone opened up the maternity ward on my ass. damn kids.

Mercenaries 2. Engaging with two helicopters whilst a sea battle takes place underneath. I kill the pilot of the first copter, and the vehicle spirals out of the air and collides with a gunship underneath, causing them both to explode. I then leap from my helicopter and grapple the last enemy one, but it gets shot down with me still hanging on. Luckily, I land on a chinese gunship, with which I promptly open fire upon a huge allied warship nearby.

On Bioshock 2 multiplayer, I was up against this person known as Myth M3thod. normally fighting someone in that game is pretty standard: they shoot, I shoot, one of us dies. When I fought Myth M3thod, we went through a very interesting exchange. We followed each other firing our guns, bobbing and weaving, dipping and dodging. An Electro Bolt was fired my way and I was trapped as I was pumped full of led, but I managed to distract MM with a shot of the Grenade Launcher once I was freed from the paralysis. It didn't kill MM, but the explosion got in the player's way long enough for me to turn invisible with the Houdini plasmid. I sneaked up behind MM and attempted to club them with my Cane, but the player skillfully dodged out of the way. I switched back to my pistol and they fired their Tommy Gun yet again. We basically continued to get nothing but grazing shots until we both had to reload. we weaved in front of each other while our animations kept us from attacking each other. somehow, in all the confusion, once we got our weapons reloaded, i managed to barely land a deciding shot.

I know it was rather recent and it may have not been all of that epic to some, but it was the most fun I've had in Bioshock 2 multiplayer (and I really enjoy the multiplayer!)

I was in a very intense firefight in Just Cause 2 on an enemy Airbase, and I was low on ammo and health. I of course could have just called in an air drop, but that would had been really cheap, and I was just free roaming, not on a mission, so I grabbed an enemy smg and decided to just stick it out.

I noticed an enemy fighter jet beginning to take off pretty close by, so I decided that I could make it out and not whore myself out to the black market system. I grappled on to the wing of the fighter jet, and rode it out of the military base.

Not nearly satisfied, and pissed off at the enemy troops for flipping over my car killing off my two rebel companions to start the fight in the first place, I ripped the pilot out of his seat, and turned the jet back around.

I slowed down for a run over the enemy base, and spammed rockets. I blew up the enemy supply of gas silos, and destroyed a couple APCs as well. I then flew on through the mountain range which I was going through in the first place.

I got hit by a couple of SAM rockets, and parachuted onto another military site. Although this time, I landed in the middle of their base, and got overwhelmed by the enemy forces.

/sadness

Hm. I've been talking way too much about Modern Warfare 2 and GTA IV...
Lets get some RTS up in this *****!
!!!Warning. EXTREMELY LONG and EPIC READ AHEAD!!!
Supreme Commander 1, 4v4 Seton's Clutch. I'm way in the back as my three teammates hold the front. They agree to let me tech up and help out later, as the game gets off to a slow start. All four players on the other team start sending off units down the middle. Of course with artillary and missile defence it's easy to hold them off. The game gets intense halfway through when one of the guys on the other team launches a nuke. All three of my teammates start sweating as the nuke heads our way. It misses the defensive line and the first guys base. The other two players who were off to the sides already know that they're safe, leaving me. From the start I knew I wasn't going to get nuked, since I had two anti-nukes. I dispatch the missile and inform everyone else to make their own nuke defence, since the other team seemed to be springing for a nuke barrage. The middle chokepoint was filled with units, but they slowly began decreasing. At this point we all had at least one anti-nuke so we were safe for the time being. The whole game I was building up a monster economy and focused only on air factories. I sent a couple of spy planes over to the other team to check their progress. Two of the four guys were building experimentals, and the other two already had a combined force of three Fatboys. In case you're confused, they're giant mobile factories armed with battleship cannons and personal shield generators... Anyway, my teammates start to build their own experimentals to counter the enemy's, and literally nobody had paid attention to me since the start of the game (unless you count the attempted nuke). All four of us had sam stations all around the main body of our combined bases, along with shield generators stacked by twos. Anyway, the experimental war begins. Fatboys, Soul Rippers (giant gunships), Monkeylords (giant spiderbot with mounted cutting laser), and mobile artillaries start pounding on each other. The enemy team starts closing in on our point mans base. Finally I spring into action, having a total of two hours (yeah, I know. Supreme Commander has ridiculously long battles) to build up a mass of one thousand tech 3 Broadsword gunships... Ten have the power to dispatch an experimental unit in less than twenty seconds, so you can imagine what one thousand can do... Anyway, I start creating groups of two hundred and strategicly begin to send them in. Three groups with a combined six hundred gunships begin sweeping down the middle as the remaining two groups with a combined force of four hundred fly over the seas on both sides. Soon enough the middle group had taken out all of the experimentals that had been sent down the middle, and the two groups on each side were just about finished with the navys of two enemy teammates. An estimated fifty gunships out of one thousand were lost, as I regroup the remaining nine hundred and fifty to begin raping enemy one's base. His sams take down a fair amount of gunships, around eighty to ninety, but before he can launch a nuke on himself in an attempt to decimate my forces I take down his nuke launcher. Before he knows it I kill his ACU (armored command unit) and it goes about its meltdown as I move my gunships away so they don't get caught in the resulting nuclear explosion. The other three teammates begin making anti-air units and towers (having already seen my force of one thousand gunships even before I took down their fourth man). Now of course I wouldn't halt my unit production while I'm attacking right? I check my base to find around fifty to sixty brand new gunships to be sent in with the first group. I figure I would destroy their third player before withdrawing and forming a new plan for the last two since by the time I'd get done they would have massive anti-air defenses. Well, as I quickly finish off guy number three, his two teammates hit us with a surprising five nukes... They head towards me of course, and my two anti-nuke launchers couldn't handle all five missiles... Two get taken out by each anti-nuke as the fifth one hits my base dead on. My newly made gunships escape safely, and my ACU is off in the corner building tech three energy generators and mass fabricators so he's also safe. Even though I knew that we would win at this point, having a nuke hit my base wasn't too enjoyable... Nonetheless it just made the fight more epic, as I gather the force of gunships and join forces with my three teammate's ground forces to slowly advance on guy number two. Our fatboys begin firing their battleship cannons at long range as enemy assault bots close in to stop us. I had set my gunships to assist, so they did their job and protected the fatboys from pretty much all of the enemies attacks as we finally got to the outside of his base, and blow up his ACU from afar. The nuclear blast takes out half of his defenses and defensive units, allowing me to fly in and get rid of the scraps, leaving guy one... Having watched three of his teammates get blown up, he blew his whole economy on making millions of shield generators and artilaries which we finally began noticing... I tried to send some gunships but he had also built up many sams which slowed my advance and forced me to turn back. One of my teammates tells me to try again, except this time look for his anti-nuke and get rid of it since we had our own nukes to launch. I agree and fly right through his sams, taking heavy losses. Inside his base I had to blast through six shield generators before I could even reach the first anti-nuke, and by the time I had blown it up half of my gunships were gone. I start pounding away at his second one and right as it blows up my last gunship falls to the ground. Only one anti-nuke remained, but with the combined force of three nuke launchers from my teammates, we knew that victory was imminent. I watch each missile slowly ascend from its hole and zoom out to see them group up. Two were launched from each launcher, making for a total of six with a slight delay. As they begin descending all four of us watch as the first three dissapear, but the other three, having been asigned key points in the final enemies base, all touched down. I utilized the camera panning feature to watch the three mushroom clouds from as many angles as I could before they dissapeared, and our offensive force finally rolled in and took him out...
That is my most epic battle to date, and if my old computer hadn't died I would have the replay to show to everyone...
Very sad face...
Even more so when I tried to play Supreme Commander recently and found out that it no longer worked online for me... Nevermind the long battles, I could find time for them, but finding games and players who didn't quit was pretty damn difficult, and it's this battle alone that cemented my love for the game... I really want to get back into it.

My most recent epic battle was against someone online in Blazblue: Calamity Trigger. I was playing as Taokaka the cat girl against Bang Shishigami, the ninja. We both got one win each, which lead to a third and final round. By the time both of us had gotten to around 25% health, we were getting really cautious of each other, doing more hit-and-run tactics and the like. I had just gotten deflected, and Bang had begun to use one of his super moves, which is a charge. If you get caught in it unguarded, you get punished really badly afterward. If I got caught in it, I would have been dead quick... So I activated Tao's super, which is an instantaneous combo of five powerful slashes. The first slash against his charge only seemed to slow both of us down, but the second one landed, and the rest followed through. I won the match. The player was about 30 levels above me in skill levels.

*wipes sweat from brow*

In a Star-Wars mod for Mount&Blade, I started a war against Jabba the Hut by taking one of his planets. He came at my group of about 1-200 dudes with an army numbering well over 3000 (normal armies generally don't break 150). After a VERY long battle in which I had to cut many a dudes down with a lightsaber, I managed to pull off a win.
Then I angered Palpatine who also brought a massive horde my way. Again my lightsaber carved through their army.
I credit both wins to my Sith Lords, who were superbeasts and murdered enemy dudes faster than I could.

I got one from C&C generals zero hour

wall of text ahead

so, I was holding the line as the Americans, slowly pushing forward to the enemy base when I came across a wall. there is no other way to explain it, it was a wall of enemies so thick I doubt I could pierce it with a hundred laser cannons. I withdraw my forces, but not before the enemy could set up chase with, I don't know, a hundred rocket bikes. I manage to escape for a moment and get my troops into buildings and my tanks go into a guarding position around the whole thing while I make some helicopters and load up my fighter planes. soon, the bikes find me again and start to fire, but it seamed my tanks and soldiers kept them at bay long enough for me to get some of them into Chinooks and fly them back to base. I have this massive fight, am guarding my oil and resources, am fighting a few smaller battles, and have to split all of my forces between them. but soon, most of those clear up and I can get a few planes in the air to support my men, but they do minimal effect against the wave upon wave of enemy that keep attacking, so I just drop the freaking hammer on them and draw all of my forces to this fight. I mean all of them. every plane, helicopter, soldier, even a few bulldozers to build missile defenses, but they just kept coming. I was able to get a particle cannon ready and fire it at them, but then more show up, so I call out my trump: Coronal Burton. he has a mini gun, lot's of health, regenerates it, and can just kick ass. I set him up on a ridge near the enemy base with some snipers and get to work. I blow up one building and run, hoping that he takes some of his forces back to his base to kill Burton, and they do. I manage to slip away and get all of them back to the front line, but there is still more enemies. I soon run the map dry of resources and have to survive on what I have. I set up one last stand at my base, right at the builder creating site and get ready for defeat. but they don't for a long time. I send a spy plane and scout out, and he has more units then at the start of the fight. I hunker down, I find any buildings or bunkers to hide my troops in, get all planes in the air, and have all supports online. soon they come, this time it's all of them, so there won't be a second wave. I fight them off for a bit, but it is all for not. my defenses crumble, my units all start to die, and I know I will loose, when out of nowhere my Chinese army ally that I thought was taken out launches about twenty nukes on them. sure, my base is destroyed and I die, but my team won, and that's what matters to me.
