I don't like how all of the "hot" anime girls have boobs the size of human heads, and I don't like how all of the "not hot" anime girls are flatter than an ironing board. It's just stupid.

Also, when it takes 30 episodes for characters to stop grimacing at each other and DO SOMETHING.

That is all.

When, in a fight with good guy versus bad guy, with the good guy clearly inferior to bad guy, good guy gets injured and suddenly wins through SHEER WILLPOWER AND WANTING TO FIGHT FOR/PROTECT HIS FRIENDS, as opposed to winning due to something clever, or exploiting a weakness or whatever.
So, pretty much every episode of Bleach.

Recap episodes.
They always happen in series that have the least complicated plots and just end up wasting an entire episode before the one event that the entire season has been building up to.
Case in point, DBZ. With every episode having a recap and preview, and every episode consisting of either a good guy getting beat-up, a good guy training because he got beat-up, or the good guy screaming for hours on end, (in order to unleash the attack that will defeat whoever beat him up;) dedicating an episode to rehashing it all is the anime equivalent of flipping the viewer the bird.

I'm a fan of the show/manga (as demonstrated by my avatar) but damn if it doesn't milk certain tropes to death. Compounded by the fact that good guys never, ever, ever die.

The mildly retarded protagonist designed so that they have every detail of the plot explained to them and, by extension, you, since we're all apparently brain-damaged and cannot connect plot points together without help from a qualified disabled care worker.

The comical girl-on-girl boob grab.

Any anime that features it immediately loses half its credibility.

I actually watched it until about episode 200 or something, then I just couldn't stand it anymore. Should have ended at episode 60 or something.

Obvious bullshit. It's intentionally broad so I can include plot armour, deus ex machina and forced fan service.

Examples of serious offenders:

So let me get this straight: Up till now characters have suffered apparent fatal injuries, some with no hope of survival, and lived, and then we get Ace dying from a fist of magma with a retarded excuse like his logia being inferior to Akainu? Oda, I am disappoint.

The part where Gajeel just HAPPENED to have something to give the heroes their magic back may be forgiven ir that Lucy had one beforehand AND just happened to remember it now, but the news that Lisanna wasn't dead all along, despite all the character development it brought for others? Really?
The matrix boobs. You know very damn well what I'm talking about:

Epic battles take half a series to finish with constant flash backs and/or interruptions. RAGE.

The pointless Mexican standoff. Especially when it goes on for longer than 30 seconds.
I've always wondered why the guy with the gun doesn't just shoot, seriously, the other guy would be dead before he could stab him.

Ironic considering your avatar is from Gurren Laggen.
THAT'S NOT HOW MINDMILLS WORK! I mean, that's not what irony means. It means using the words with different meaning than literal.

Also, Gurren Lagann (..spelling, man) goes over the top the right way.
Well, irony isn't that strictly defined actually. As opposed to sarcasm; which would be what you described. I agree that it is ironic that you complain about Gurren Lagann while having a Gurren Lagann avatar.

If Bender can't explain it, nobody can.

Also, I didn't complain about Gurren Lagann. Especially since whenever they meet a tough opponent, they burst right through him the next episode. Which makes sense, since Gurren Lagann is powered by the controlling pilots' fighting spirits and willpower (Spiral Power, the power of evolution, to be exact).
I still hold that if you were complaining about Gurren Lagann, having a picture from Gurren Lagann as your avatar would be ironic. Let's say it's because your complaining implies that you do not like Gurren Lagann, while your avatar implies you does.

Besides, you can't simply define irony by a dictionary entry, there are even several different kinds, and none of them are very clearly defined. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony
No. Saying one thing and doing another is hypocrisy, but once again, I didn't complain about Gurren Lagann. That's basically a PARODY of all those new shounen animes that go over the top for no reason, just to get fanservice and young people attracted to flashy battles and so on.

GL does EVERYTHING over the top - from female lead being often target of boob jokes (characters themselves make jokes about her appearance), and the whole "believe in me who believes in you" and later "don't believe in me, who believes in you, believe in you who believes in you!!!" is pure, 100% crystallized parody of all the -mon series. PIKACHU I BELIEVE IN YOU!1!!!

Dragon ball Z/Voltron syndrome.

IE We have the most powerful attack in the world or the big ass Lion Sword...

We'll let you beat our heroic man asses for 25minutes out of a 27 minute show...

THEN we whip out the pwn bone and blick you in one shot.

Why the F'in hell could you have done that soon as that shit showed up?
