The Zombies from Penumbra.

You just spent 5 hours beating one to death with a rock; and have less than %20 HP - Oh, look! Another one spawned RIGHT. FUCKING. BEHIND YOU!! And, just to add to the bullshit, it has a magnum! See ya' at the Game-Over screen!

Was about to say those speedy headcrabs from HL2, but I think IRL flies are the most annoying game enemy.

Theres me with my cross hair on the back of an enemies head, and a fly flies straight into my head -.-

The little demons in Act 3 of Diablo II. I think they were called "Fetishes" or something like that. They annoy the crap out of me.
Same here.

Plus Eddy Gordo from the Tekken series. he was completely cheap.

Those zombies had guns? I don't remember that. Maybe I just hid from them really well.

The aliens from Crysis, both games. They jumped in and turned what was a nice nonlinear shooter into a Halo-esque action shootup, that's just a contest of who can dish out the most firepower. Goodbye single-shot mode, hello extended magazines!

They had something that resembled guns, and it did have a ranged-attack, so I just assumed it was a gun. I've never got close enough to actually look at it, it's like a pistol stuck on the end of a cane.

Malboro from almost any Final Fantasy. Bad Breath just destroys you very very slowly. Unless you are prepared for it.

D:

Barthandelus, when he has like 5 faces. I finally beat him and was so relieved, then I got to Cid about 5 minutes later and history basically repeated itself.

Dunno, the gameplay was so tight that after a while I could defeat them no problem. Had more problems with those damn ships; always beat them with an item.

ow and not to nitpick but I think it's Grace & Glory.
Grace and Glory are the weaker versions, Gracious and Glorious are the big armoured white ones. Grace and Glory are no problem but their big cousins don't activate witch time when you dodge and hurt like hell. And like I mentioned you can't knock them over until you do enough damage. But yeah, Kinships are a complete pain.

The Maneaters from Demon's Souls kind of suck major ass.
I'm fortunate enough to have not encountered the maneaters.... Gave up after the fucking Flamelurker
The Flamelurker is cake comparatively. It only took me one try to take down the flamelurker (what a wuss. Can't take two soul arrows to the face), but god damnit, I just kept getting knocked down, pounced, and knocked off the stage by the god damn Maneaters.

STOP POUNCING FOR ONE GOD DAMN SECOND!

Not only that, but you have to climb a tall ass tower to get back to them once you die. FFS.
The phantom mindflayer on the way up is far more annoying than the Maneater(s) themselves though.

On that note, Mindflayers in Demon's Souls.

Isn't that the Malboro from Final Fantasy 8? Which I still think is the absolute worst one in the history of the series. Before any asks, FF8 had the more difficult system to protect yourself from negative status effects. In other games, you could just keep one party member equipped with a Ribbon at all times and stay safe. But not in FF8. You had to have "Status Defense Junctions" AND a spell for the status you wish to prevent. Even then, you could only have four spells max. How many negative status effects does Bad Breath inflict? That's right, ALL of them. Oh, and in FF8 they had a lot of HP. More than they seemed to have in others. Even among the other Malboros, FF8 Malboros are the worst.

This post made me laugh... a lot. Well I actually don't think he's that tough if you know what you're doing, just stand by a ladder and shoot him back down with the shotgun when he jumps up.

The reason I hate crossbow guys is because they always spawn at ridiculous places where you can't see them (especially on the castle and the island) And when they hit you, you get stunned which often makes you lose your kill count, or even better, get your head chopped off by whats his face.

You do know that's a parody of this song...

...right? Riiiiiiiiiiiiight?

Funnily enough, I didn't actually hate Air Man that much, partly because I did Metal Man first. Then Wood Man goes down to the Metal Blade, and Leaf Shield works wonders on Air Man. Then Bubble Man and Flash Man go down to the Metal Blade as well, Crash Man is beaten by Air Shooter, Bubble Lead beats Heat Man (use Item-2 to skip disappearing blocks) and Crash Bomb (and Time Stopper) kills Quick Man.

As for the dragon in Wily Stage 1... Screw that thing. And the git who thought to put it in. With Youmu's swords. (Hint: Quick Boomerang is its weakness, if you ever find an opening to hit it safely...)

Oh yeah, also, Power Beam Space Pirates from Meteoroid Prime, they weren't hard, they just required you to shoot them a million times.
What? No they don't. 2 charged beam shots with the Power Beam outta polish them off pretty quick.
