I hate people who use the word racist when the word they are looking for is prejudiced.

Seriously, no one is racist against Americans because "American" is not a race, get that through your goddamn heads.

I get accused of that a lot as well. I often tell them that I'm making fun of nations and not a race.

Technically though, everyone's a human, as much as supremacists of every sort try to convince us otherwise, so I don't even know if the word "racist" is even the right word to use. Unless we're reserving "species-ist" for use with aliens instead of "racist".

"Epic", just because of how overused it has become.

Epic is indeed pretty damn overused, however I told this to one of my friends who uses it constantly and he started saying "tubular" instead so I keep quiet about it now...lesser of two evils. When I think of all the other words that have filled roughly the same role in the past "epic" doesn't seem so bad. I live in fear of the day the word "gnarly" becomes popular again ;_;.
