Your most loved TV series that never made it more than a season (or two)

My most recent "best show ever made" or "BSEM" (for acronym-junkies) I've seen is Baccano! Every aspect of that show oozed awesome and made me glad to be alive... I just might be exaggerating a bit hah. Edit*** It only has 1 season so far... but I've heard more are on the way =)

On topic, I was upset that Clerks: The Animated Series only had like 4 episodes. And that Human Giant was extremely short-lived when it brought me to tears from laughing so hard.

These three words can summarize the opinions of just about everyone here. Any company that cancels Firefly, Arrested Development, and Futurama, but keeps airing crap like American Idol should not be legally allowed to succeed... Bastards.

Yeah Nathan Fillion is quite awesome. Perhaps the only actor who can make an extremely grave scene seem funny. I'm beggining to think I should have just named this a Firefly memorial thread or something

If I remember correctly, I didn't like Drive very much so not much of a loss to me. However, I would've like to see a second season of Studio 60 on the sunset strip.

I loved Blade the Series, but it was discontinued after only one season and of course it ended on a cliffhanger. I would love if they brought it back.

I watched Firefly and then Serenity, and cursed Fox for canceling probably the best space western outside of Cowboy Bebop or Trigun.

Others...Time Squad, because it was so damn funny (and had Mark Hamill as C-3PO clone Larry 3000), Invader ZIM, Freakazoid...I'd hesitantly say the first season of the new Doctor Who, because Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor was just so...as he constantly said "Fantastic!", Samurai Jack (that didn't even get an ending!) Big O, because the ending made no sense whatsoever and didn't resolve anything. And probably (though technically it's not a TV show) Toonami, but that went on for 11 years and was done in by executive meddling.

Fuck you, Fox.

Mind if we add "Fuck you Cartoon Network" to that statement? They've made their network damn near unwatchable.
