No joke: the best round I ever had as arty was one in which I basically played it as a tank killer. I drove up with the front lines and basically just tried "no scoping" enemies as I came across them. Got 5 kills that game.

And don't get me started on the AT (x) tanks. I'd rather fight a fleet of heavies rather than one of those. They don't do much damage per hit, but they reload fast and are damn near indestructible if you're shooting at them from any angle except directly behind them. Ever seen two AT's get in a shoot-out with one another? I have...it's frickin' hilarious. It's like they're both using rubber shells.

Let's not even fucking mention the amount of times friendly tank hunters run away and leave me to die against things they could easily kill, thus fucking us all over as the enemy pours through the gap my death has created....
Ahhh yes, nothing like moving forward with a group and zooming in to fire down range only to realize that EVERY tank you can see is shooting at you. You start to wonder why not even a single one of your teammates is taking any fire only to zoom out and realize "Oh, well that's nice, suddenly I'm all by myself out here with my ass hanging out because my team has either fled."

Oh, and one thing that we haven't brought up yet is the team balancing. 5 mediums, 6 lights, and 4 arties vs 8 heavies, 6 destroyers, and an arty. Yeah, that's a fair fight.

Yeah, I've had some good arty matches too, but right now I'm using the Sturmpanzer II, which is slow in every way possible except for how fast it dies. It moves slow, it turns slow, it reloads slow, even its fucking shells are slow. It's still a decent tank, but using it can be very frustrating. And while team balancing seems to be better handled on the Xbox version as far as I can tell, I still been in several matches where half of one team is tank destroyers while half the other team is medium tanks.

Another Dark Souls rage quit here. Making really good progress in Dark Souls 2 and I kept saying to myself 'there's gonna be a bonfire around the corner any minute, there's no need to turn back now'. Of course I died in a fire trap and then died in my desperate attempt to revive my now lost 50,000 souls!

Think I'm gonna have a break from that game for a few days.

My latest rage quit? Probably my latest in successive attempts to outsmart the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" game. Seriously, maybe Infocom and ol' Doug were involved in its making, but I'm pretty sure it was Satan doing most of the legwork during production. D:

When I first read about them in the latest update, I was ecstatic about joining the Confrontation battles; at last it seemed they had taken measures to fix the stupidity of Tigers and Shermans on the same side against Churchills and T-34s (Lend Lease and captured vehicles notwithstanding of course). Now I dread them because the enemy is always given a ridiculous amount of tank destroyers: my latest was against the US and while we had an average mix of heavies, mediums and lights, they had TEN tank destroyers. Fucking ten! Like we ever stood a fucking chance against those speed racers with super guns and armour that despite being thin enough to be penetrated by machine gun fire, is SOMEHOW just sloped enough to bounce all my long 75mm shells.

As for normal team balancing, I'm just glad I'm no longer a tier four scout: "You have a turbo engine wrapped in several layers of metallic painted cardboard and equipped with a peashooter; say, wouldn't it be fun to go up against tier 8 experimental heavy tanks that never left the drawing board!"
