Hmm I suppose it's a mix of UT3, RDR, Black Ops, Starcraft 2 (in a way), Bulletstorm. Hell I could probably find a few more to put in that list :/

Black Ops - my reasons for not liking it are long and varied. However, I will say that on it's own, without any comparisons to other COD titles, I will say that it feels unfinished. Well, it is a console port after all. Not that I mind console ports - I just wish that it was refined enough for it to be playable (at launch - I didn't get it at launch but apparently it was unbelievably terrible and when I did get the game a few weeks later the performance was terrible).

I deleted some other stuff I just wrote because I don't want to start a flame war on the subject of Black Ops. It really isn't worth my or anyone else's time.

So back to topic please :D

Try it.

As for me,

The King of Fighters XII. 60 dollars. Wasted. WASTED. On what was obviously a cash-grab in the middle of KOF XIII's development.

Halo Reach, Dead Rising 2 and Operation Flashpoint.
i played DR2 most of the three for about an hour, after dieing for the 5th time and respawning 10 minutes away i realised it wasn't fun so i quit.
Do you still have DR2? because I have been looking for somebody to co-op with through the entire game. I'm pretty darned good at it, have the locations of a lot of things memorized but you see, nobody wants to play it online. Every person's game I join beats a mission then quits or runs in circles killing zombies for 2 hours.

Brutal Legend. I had a huge hassle trying to buy it that nearly resulted in me getting beat up by two very large bearded men, (I won't get into it now, it's a long story and it makes me look like an asshole,)And I didn't even enjoy at all when I got it home.
Okay now I really want to know because I picture a generic guy(you) stealing it from a crippled kid on his last leg of life who wanted it from the Make a Wish Foundation.

Worst gaming purchase I would have to say Too Human. LOVED the game to death. Played it nonstop but it is probably the worst game that I have purchased.

The story had me hooked though I can't say much for it's variety.

Black Ops for PC, i spent $60 for the game, then had to spend about $150 for a dual core processer to play it. The dual core i don't regret buying, but i want my $60 back from Black Ops, the story line was a bit interesting at times, but the multiplayer is crap.

bad company 2. incredibly inferior to MW2 and now light years behind homefront. it was the worst shooter i have ever played.

i would say black ops, but i play zombies exclusively now. the multiplayer is so messed up its ridiculous. treyarch nerfed the living hell out of sniping to the point where its impossible to do anything with them, the maps are a poorly designed mess at best, and the weapon selection is atrocious. also, i would like to point out that treyarch did a poor job researching weapons. a buddy of mine (a weapons historian) pointed out a bunch of flaws, most i can't remember, but i do remember that he told me the 3 shot burst m16 didn't even come out until like 10 years after the game was supposed to take place.

I regret every dollar I spent on the Wii. I "just had to" play the new Metroid and Zelda, but I wound up spending more money on SNES, Gamecube, and 64 titles. Seriously, I knew it was all a gimmick before I bought it, why did I spend the money? They didn't even update the graphics! Nintendo was a huge part of my childhood but they are dead to me now.

Who is this "Nintendo" you speak of?

Driv3r.....yeah

actually I got it as a gift, so I'll have to say World in Conflict PC. It was a decent game mind you, about worth a playthrough or two. But thats about it.

Recently, I bought The Witcher via Steam sale. Took forever to download, plus the download restarted at 75% for some reason, then two hours and 20% later, the game was suddenly fully downloaded. I started it, watched the long bhut awesome-looking starting cutscene and I'm wondering why I didn't press esc to get this shit over with. I'm finally given control of Geralt and the first thing that turned me off about the game was the uncomfortably positioned camera button. I go to the button layout in the menu screen and see where I can adjust how I can turn the camera and redirect it from the default button (clicking/holding the scroll wheel) to my right mouse button (hell, any of the 12 buttons on my mouse would have sufficed), but I couldn't find it and I'm stuck with this hugely awkward way of using this camera. And when I did swing the camera as Geralt turned, if the camera position was "over the shoulder" and the scroll wheel was held for too long, then the view gradually zooms into first person.

And the combat... oh dear god, the combat. And I thought the combat in Dragon Age Origins was bad, this is like, real bad. It makes Final Fantasy 13 look action packed in comparison, and that was basically a 38-hour movie. Click on an enemy, adjust stance according to what weapon the enemy was using, then click and wait until the final strike comes, then click and wait, repeat ad nauseam. Like I said in another topic, combat and camera controls make or break a game for me. This isn't dynamic combat, this is garbage! Thankfully the game was cheap, so no real money lost. If I didn't get this on sale, I would have been pissed. And this was from the first 45 minutes into the game.

And yes, I do like RPG's in general, so don't call me a mindless FPS sheep. Those are fightin' words.

Crysis 2. Full price. I really hate myself for this.

I don't know what you guys did with Crysis, but this sure as hell isn't Crysis.

Elder Scrolls IV: Special Edition. What a boring, lifeless piece of shit that game is... the fact that I paid a shitload extra for a book full of lore I have no interest in and a collectible coin that is only good for a paperweight just adds insult to injury.

Blade Kitten, which I got via Steam. The gameplay's buggy as hell, the storyline doesn't make much sense, the voice-acting is mediocre, and the main character's annoying. There's also the fact that there were supposed to be 19 levels, then the company decided to use the other levels for a second game without changing any of the information for the original game.
I heard that they ended up bankrupt so I doubt that there will ever be a second one, which is a good thing considering how terrible the first one is.
