Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor. Actually, it would be kind of a stretch to say that I "regret" buying it, since I actually consider it to be a good game and I am rather fond of WWII-related media. If nothing else, I had some good times with the multiplayer with an old friend of mine.

However, after being so used to StarCraft's fast pace, Company of Heroes's slow pace just didn't really appeal to me. So now, it is sitting on my shelf and I haven't touched it since. But I'm keeping it in case me and my old friend ever get together for a game again.

The Prince Of Persia reboot. Not the one that went with the movie, but the one that came right before it. Where the Prince is dressed in flowing scarves and has the damn wall-grind glove. I got this game for FREE and I still felt like a tool playing it. It was the first time I ever played a game, and I was trying to kill myself, just for some excitement (never mind, you can't actually die because damn Elika or whatever she was always saves you). Big frustrating mess. Worst game I ever played. Nothing compares.

To pick a game I paid for, I'd go with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. I'm a rhythm game fanatic, and I figured that Aerosmith could be fun. And at the time, it was on sale, with the guitar controller, for like 20 bucks. I thought to myself "good deal yo!". A few songs later, and I was ready to knock my teeth out with my own plastic guitar. Truly, a rhythm game should not be centered on just one artist, I don't care how good they are or how much you think you like them(here's looking at you Beatles Rock Band and the likes). Returned it without even unlocking all the songs. But at least I got an extra guitar out of it for co-op with my other rhythm games!

Black Ops for Xbox. I gave it an honest week of playtime to see if I could get anything from the experience...

Nope.

Thank god Gamestop was still giving $40 credit back for it.

This is also the first game I have turned in for credit since the era of the PS1.

I payed $20 for a copy of JP Trespasser, <a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.270183-Reviews-from-the-Backroom-Jurassic-Park-Trespasser>just to review it.

I'm still kicking myself.

Black Ops, enough said
Not really. Why? A lot of you are writing that. Some reviewers thought the graphics blew.

What is everyone talking about?

Never been in a spawn trap that bad, but I recall this game indeed having the worst spawns I have ever seen in a game.

It also has the worst/most boring map design I have ever seen in a shooter. I did enjoy Modern Warfare 2 to an extent, but I honestly couldn't find one right thing about black ops.

I'm always torn between Fable 3 and Mass Effect 2.

but I believe Fable 3 is more bull-shit rubbish in the end.

Fahrenheit, Dead Space, Mass Effect, take your pick...
I paid full price and regretted every single one.
Sold most within a week too.

Black Ops. I loved CoD4, didn't really like MW2, and Black Ops is just bad. I can't finish the boring storyline. Everything is just bad, the hit boxes, peer to peer hosting, crappy spawns, the only thing I was glad was that I didn't buy it for PC because I heard it's even worse than on the console.

Bad Dudes for the NES. Oh god did I hate that game. I had to wait 6 months between x-mas and my b-day. And when it finally arrived I took that b-day cash to the local pawn shop (this was before video game shops popped up in my town) and got that game for 10 bucks...WHAT A RIP!

Steel Battalion. Yeah, I'm sure it's a great game, but I bought it without knowing about the big controller...thing that you have to buy seperately.

I was going to say Cruis'n USA, but that game was actually sort of fun. Command and Conquer for the N64 was one serious stinker, though. I've yet to play an RTS on a console that wasn't like trying to escape a toffee pit while wearing lubed-up latex gloves.

GTA IV PC. If it can't run anything on medium settings without chugging when I so much as get into a chase then the designers did nothing but fail.
