The only reason I'm not still playing Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic is my old rig died a natural death, it caught a nasty virus. The mod community for that game was amazing, they had mods which quadrupled the number of different units. I actually wrote most of the flavor text for them. That and a random map generator meant I could play it until the end of time.

Even after six playthroughs, I find myself tempted once again by the Capital Wasteland...

I played Arcanum until I maxed out all the various skills/magic trees/invention routes. Took me a dozen times. Beating it with a herbalist was pretty hard.

I don't consider multiplayer skirmishes to be multiplayer so... Diablo 2. Several times. And likely to be several times more in the future. Diablo 3 will have to be AMAZING to stop me playing #2!

My most replayed games are mainly oldies:

MSX: King's Valley, Kung Fu Master, Beamrider, Goonies...

NES: Super C, Code Name Viper, Nightshade...

Genesis: Rolling Thunder 2, Revenge of Shinobi, Shadow Blasters, Thunder Force 3...

Arcade: Black Tiger, Rygar, Elevator Action, Time Pilot...

But if we talk about more story-oriented games, or modern games that take forever to finish, the list gets very shorter:

Blood Omen 1, Sanitarium, Outcast (played it through only twice, but I made every second last), Silent Hill 1...

Those are the ones I remember right now. And looking at those lists, I get uncomfortably aware of how old I'm getting... :)

I don't really replay games all that often because there are so many games I haven't beaten but I have replayed Psychonauts 4 or 5 times so I think that would be the winner. I don't know what's in second but i've also replayed Yoshi's Island and Bioshock

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, Fallout 3 and Oblivion must have 4oo+ hours sunk into each of them. I really need another hobby...

Max Payne 1 and 2 still have more play throughs than any other game(s) I have ever owned; 16 times for Max Payne 1 and 10 for Max Payne 2
This. Though I'm on about a couple dozen play throughs of 2 and only about a dozen for 1. Something about those games makes every single room of bad guys fun, rather than a trudge to the next critical story point / save / boss / whatever.

Probably Star Fox 64; long enough to be satisfying for my tastes but short enough so I can finish it in one sitting. Add to that trying beat your highscores and the multiple branching paths and you have extreme replayability.

Probably Baldur's Gate 2. I've started soo many new games in that one, even though I only made it to the end once. Usually getting bored halfway through and playing something else or starting another character, but I keep returning to Baldur's Gate 2.

Even though I love BG2 so much, I couldn't get into Dragon Age Origins for some reason. Stopped playing it after maybe 10 hours, forced myself to go on for another 5 then got bored again.

Kingdom Hearts 2 and FFX are probably my most replayed games. I can sit back and finish those and be smiling for hours.

FFX and SO3. I've played both about 5 times each.

FFX: My brother borrowed it off a friend the first time I played it, so that was one playthrough. Started again when I got my own copy. Once again about 3 years after that. Then I did Tidus and Lulu solo challenges. I got up to Penance with Tidus, which you physically cannot beat because you don't have enough turns, and Lulu was a grind-fest, so I gave up after the Anti-magic boss.

SO3: One playthrough on Earth and 4D, two playthroughs on Galaxy and Universe mode. Tried different teams each time.
