Currently I've got an old pocket knife of my grandfather's, a silver medallion that my mom gave me years ago, and a silver ring my dad got got me. I carry them at all times.

My toy cat Ginger. that little cat was probably my only friend in my elementary school years.

She's definitely worn out alot, but that shows how much fun I had with her.

That cat has alos traveled everywhere I have been. from south dakota to madison, Ginger has always been my travel buddy. I still take her to bed every night. She's that important to me.

Anyways, feel free to ridicule me. That's what always happens at the Gametrailers.com forum.

This is my first post, BTW.

probably The silver necklace A friend of the family got me from the saint patricks cathedral(the weird part is that it has saint Anthony on it, along with "Saint Anthony pray for us") engraved around the sides) It's not my most expensive item(it's quite small), but it holds a huge personal value. I wear it everyday.

My Hat. My books are a close second but my hat is that only part of me I can regularly take off and put back on.

Gotta say my class ring. Not that I liked my school experience nor was I such a great student for the ring to mean that much extra to me. I value it because all of my other possessions are only as valuable as the purpose they serve. CD breaks, get another. TV breaks, get another. My ring does nothing, and you can't just buy another one at a convenience store.

Hurm... I used to have an electric violin that I was really fond of, but I gave that to a friend when I moved. Recently, though... I suppose my courier bag. I always have a few essentials in it, and if I leave the house without it, I feel naked, even if I don't actually need it for anything. I dunno, I don't often get attached to objects.

A stuffed Big Bird doll I got as a baby. Has some mysterious affection for it ever since. If anyone ever stole or damaged it I would be forced to kill them.

EDIT: That is if you mean inanimate objects. I love my dog more than ANYTHING in the entire universe.

I'm both a photographer and an artist, and my cameras are among my most cherished possessions. I've used both my film and my digital to create many a photographs and freeze in time countless memories of places that I haven't since returned to and faces that have long ago vanished from my life.

A very close second is an old pair of brass scissors and a letter opener in a desk set that used to belong to my great-grandfather. I still keep it on my desk and use it to open letters just about every day.
