Of every object in every game you have ever played, what would devastate you the most to lose?
We have all poured countless hours into games. We have build structures that rival the most amazing creations of man in Minecraft. We have slayed countless enemies in RPGs to obtain a single weapon. We have achieved victory against enemies that transform into creatures that Lovecraft couldn't imagine (I'm looking at you Final Fantasy).
But my question is simple. What is your most valuable and treasured aspect of a game that you have ever lost.
Mine is my Blastoise, from the original Pokemon Blue. I was 8 years old when I bought the game on the day it released. He was my first Pokemon, but not only that, he was the first time I felt responsible for a video game character and an actual attachment to an aspect of gaming. I lost him when I was in a car accident and my Gameboy and the game was smashed. I honestly felt like i had lost a close friend that day, even though it was almost 8 years later.
