Damn... People seriously seem to like Paramore here...

Ok, as long as my sister is not here, I can say that I actually like Misery Business from them (she would so make me listen to everything they've ever recorded, and I'd rather not).

Other songs that I shouldn't like... Rick Astley's Never gonna give you uo. WAY TOO CATCHY TO RESIST.

Post 2 or 3 songs that y'all pretend you don't listen to and secretly love.

This is my first thread in a long while so excuse my ignorance if this has come up before.
I'm not very picky about my music, the only styles I don't really like are R&B, Rap and Hip Hop.
However most of my music is either Gothic or Symphonic Metal, so I guess I'll relay the few exceptions.

1) Eternal Flame - The Bangles.

2) Frozen - Madonna.

3) Winter Storm - Tarja
(the whole album pretty much, former singer for Nightwish, new solo album)

Do the Hustle! Actually I think that's liked anyways.

Well in my family I am known for listening to either eccentric songs or rock, and for always complaining about modern music and how it's shit, as modern music is all they'll listen to, as well as all the bad 80s songs.

My musical guilty pleasure therefore would be having a few of the most recent Now! CDs put into my ipod, and actually enjoying some of the songs.

No reason to feel guilty about the music you dig. However I do listen to a few bands that have taken my street cred in the back and shot it. My Chemical Romance comes to mind. I can't help it, they're good rock and roll.

Evanescence. I prefer metal and classic rock, but My Immortal is such a beautiful song, and Amy Lee has a spectacular voice.

I have a strange liking for Coldplay, though everyone else seems to despise them. I'm also a bit fond of new-age music, classical, and Jpop.

Though to be fair I'm incredibly flexible when it comes to music. I like just about every genre.

Yes, I even like some (well-made and meaningful) rap.

Well, I like Rise Against and Green Day. They're great bands, but apparently the internet hates them.
Never been sure why everyone hates Green Day so much. Good shit in my opinion.

Green Day was awesome back in the day and then--their music changed--apparently they sold out and now no one really likes them anymore.

At least, that's what I gathered.

OT: Sometimes, I'll put nothing but sappy love songs on my play list and sing along with them.

I also really like Loreena McKennitt. She has such a beautiful voice.

I play jazz drums in a variety of venues, but there's still nothing I enjoy playing so much as The Offspring.
