Being a percussion student in high school, I play mostly marimba and timpani in school. At home, I rock out on my drumset and play classical music on the keyboard. Over the summer, I hope to find a violin teacher. <3

I play bass guitar, ocarina, recorder and piano. XD I wanna learn how to play the ukulele as well but I'm small so it'd probably look like a normal sized guitar on me -.-

Alto recorder, clarinet, alto sax, guitar, electric bass, 4-mallet marimba, vibrophone, blues harmonica.

Learned in that order.

Started with the trumpet in a brass band waaaaay back in the day. Then a few of us figured we should start some kinda soul/r&b thingy, and I got stuck with the bassguitar along with the duty of handling the vocals. Yeah - thanks guys. Perfect combo there. Picked up guitar a few years later, while pretty much continuing the vocal and/or bass-stuff.
Also got the chance to play a church organ (no deviant priest puns intended) when I got older, which was a kick buttocks trip!

I play guitar, bass, ukelele and banjo.

I picked up guitar at around the age of 15 because I was getting into rock and metal, and wanted to play what I listened to. I started bass a couple of years later because bass is too damn awesome to not play. Well, and because I really wanted to play some funky basslines.

As for the other two, it's because they're both supremely badass.
This, really almost scary how much this matches with what I was about to write.

Ps. If someone could tell me how to quote people I would be much obliged (I'm new).
The best way to pick up any HTML thing, like quoting, is to hit the "quote" button at the bottom right of a post and look at what's put in brackets.
Alright, I think I got it. I can 't believe I have more then 30 replies already, you guys are awesome.

Will I get thrown out if I say I play Air Guitar? I have access to drums, electric drums, a few guitars and a bunch of pianos, don't necessarily play them though since I haven't had a proper lesson for any of the instruments. Except maybe piano...

I play bass guitar and harmonica. I picked up guitar in my teens when I was trying to get into rocks music. Originally tried playing acoustic but because my fingertips are double jointed it made hitting the right string way trickier so moved onto bass instead.
Picked up the harmonica... just cause I wanted to

How much did that cost you?
And how much does it cost for another string?
Mine's substantially less elaborate than that one. I've not had to replace a string yet.

It costs £100/month to rent one.

Sounds like a lot, right? Wrong. The cheapest start at like £8,000 to buy.

All for the difficulty of managing seven pedals and 56 strings.

Sure does sound purty though.
