Guitar and trombone mostly. A little bit of bass or piano, and I mean a little.

Like everyone in the world I play the guitar, but I'm going to get a Kitara when it finally comes out at the end of the year.

This is a Kitara if you've never heard of it.

This is not a replacement for the guitar, but more of a synthesizer for people who are more familiar with the guitar's layout as apposed to the keyboard's layout. The idea is to mesh the two to make it easier for guitarists to make synth music.

I've always been a fan of chip-tunes like Anamanaguchi, Retro Helix and Eisenfunk. So I've always wanted something like this that will allow me to do that. With a little bit of practice I should eventually be able to write music as good as this:

It's a pretty good instrument, considering how little I paid for it.

I play the guitar, bass, piano and drums. I was forced into classical piano by my parents when I was young. With the musical knowledge I gained from that instrument, I moved on to drums, and eventually into guitar and bass.

Out of those instruments my favorites are the bass and drums for sure.

There is but one thing in the world that I am genuinely proud of, and that's my skill at drums.

Drums. I play drums, and I... am... awesome!
I'd love to learn keyboard, bass and sax as well, they're my other favourite instruments
Who are your favorite drummers?

I love Tim "Herb" Alexander (Primus), Jimmy Chamberland (Smashing Pumpkins), Jon Theodore (The Mars Volta), ?uestlove (The Roots), Janet Weiss (Quasi / Sleater-Kinney), Brian Chase (The Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Andy Outbreak (The Distillers) and everyone who's ever played for The Dismemberment Plan. I didn't mention Bonham/Carey/Pert because I assume everyone says that :)
Chamberland is a great shout. I love The Distillers but not actually keen on the drummer, he doesn't stand out to me
Some of my favourites are Ben Johnston (Biffy Clyro), Ben Gordon (Parkway Drive), Dan Searle (Architects), Buddy Rich (for obvious reasons, he's the greatest ever), Ben Koller (Converge) and Matt Halpern (Periphery)

I play guitar and bass. Been doing both for about 10 years total. I started playing guitar at age 9 because I wanted to be like Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin). I've found I'm much more of an Adam Jones (Tool) fan.

Bass experience comes from playing in my middle school and high school bands. Not as much fun as teaching myself to play Vicarious.

I haven't played an instrument since I was in high school; I was B Trumpet in my school band. I would love to buy and learn to play the cello, but that most likely will never happen.

I play guitar and piano, and dabble in drums and bass (would learn them more, but I don't have a drum set or a bass).

As for my guitar, it's a Schecter C-1 Classic. It's sexy, but not too sexy.

Used to play trombone, keyboard, and bass guitar. I still have my bass and play it every now and then when I get bored.

Flugelhorn. Oh yeah.
Hell yeah flugelhorn! I don't play it but I like how it sounds and I love saying the name.

OT: I play percussion. I initially joined band so I could play drums because they were loud and i wanted to be a rock star. The more I played the more I got into concert music and fell in love with the marimba and vibraphone. They are my favorite percussion instruments out of all of them.

What I love about being a percussionist is there is never a shortage of interesting instruments for me to play and and new ways for me to use them.

I play drums, guitar, and I sing, scream and beat box. With a lot of instruments, I just made playing them in some way a casual part of my day. I always liked to tap and hit random things to make beats, when I started playing guitar, I often took my acoustic places with me and played stuff, playing stupid songs for people and making things up. And I always have my voice with me, it's part of my personality to incorporate different weird voices, accents, singing, strange screaming and growling noises, and beat boxing into my life. I guess I'm a musical person, I hear sounds, music, noises and other things and interpret, mimic and manipulate them. I'm finding the more instruments I learn how to play, the easier it is to pick up new one.
