That's not nerdy. Buying the 3 vinyl deluxe special editions may however be nerdy.Madrak the Red said:I always buy music on CDs
I don't remember ever crying reading the wheel of time, I think its because of the thirds perspective, I felt sad at those moments but more like a awkward witness then part of it, I almost cried a lot during the Farseers because the 1st person view was so personal.sirdapfrey said:I read that series as well and felt bad for Thick myself. But I was even more moved by certain events in the Wheel of Time series, such as Moraine's letter to Rand after her encounter with Lanfear at Cairhein and Perrin coming back to Emond's Field after the Whitecloaks had got to his family.
That last one especially got to me.
I don't know that I have a particularly nerdy trait. (I did play a lot fo tabletop RPGs when I was younger and still do once in a while.) I am proud to say I'm just a big dork in general. Although I have read The aforementioned series literaly dozens of times. I read it every time a new book is about to come out and usually a couple of times in between.

A close second is having sex with my girl and the Final Fantasy Soundtrack playing on the computer.
Me too. So much that it disturbs the people I try to talk to about it. I have long since learned to to nerd out about Star Wars or LOTR to anyone else but fellow nerds.fryman said:I know a disturbing amount of information about LOTR and Star Wars.
