Pfsh, that's nothing. Watch Airplane 2: The Sequel. When they have scanners like that, then I'll be offended...or I'll get a job in airport security...

It makes me want to get a tattoo saying "Caught you looking"

In all seriousness, why not? Airport security takes way too long as it is, and the images are destroyed automatically.

Somebody will find a way to get through this, it'll be a huge amount of money spent for an intrusion of privacy and an illusion of safety. The last system wasn't faultless and this one won't be either.

Eh, overwhelmed by indifference. I'm more upset about the other regulations on what you aren't allowed to bring on the plane. The scanners themselves though don't really bother me. I have nothing to hide, I don't know why other's have a problem with it.

Also, waiting for shots of a man going through there with a pickle or something in the pants. Now that will be funny.

This is verging dangerously on the authoritarian.
Yep. Just another step down the rocky road to America becoming a modern day Orwellian nightmare police state. It sounds like something the Combine would do.

And it's a foregone conclusion that hot girls will suddenly become "security risks" and get put through the scanners.

I mean, it doesn't show anything. And in some ways, it is more dignified than being frisked.
Personally, I'd much rather someone had a vague idea of what I look like naked than be groped by a dude in rubber gloves.
Don't forget the cavity check.

OT: Ehh... I don't really care, sure they're thorough but humans aren't to be trusted these days.

I think the airport security has gotten a little out of hand... thankfully I'm white enough for them not to suspect me for anything.
You to? Sweet.

Are you also white enough to be able to afford all three major home consoles and games for them like I am?
Nah, I only have Xbox 360, Wii, and a PC, still no PS3

Why not? I can't wait for terrorists to try hiding explosives under giant folds of fat to avoid detection in those.

*Edit* Typo.

Did you have to work for them?
Wii was a Christmas present a few years ago.
Xbox 360 is my brothers (he worked for it)
PC was my Christmas present this year.

Well, for men it could feel awkwardbecause they may feel the people who can see would judge their size of down there, but really, it's for saftey, so no one should complain.
I think a decent amount of men are really shy because they don't relize most men are built the same below the waist. Its not the high school gym shower room anymore. So yeah everyone needs to get over the hype.

I dont like the thought of it. But I know its a must have these days. But being female, I dont like to look at myslef naked as it is so the thought of security people doing it makes me feel sick. And I fly ALOT. But like I said, its needed and feeling embaressed for all of 5 seconds is nothing compared to being blown up.

As long as it would be a worthwhile improvement then sure. But if they revamped airports to include this and things still got through easily it would just be another waste of time and money.

They just need a passenger 57 on every single plane

Personally, I've got no problem with it. If security measures really need to be taken this far to assure my survival, then why not?
