Your opinions on roleplay?

I do mean in a sexual context. I have no interest in it personally. I have told my girlfriend on numerous occasions that I will never do roleplay, and luckily she was in agreement. We have had jokes about like a detective/forensics roleplay though since she wants to major in forensics. However none of that stuff is serious at all. It just seems weird to me. So what do you think of it?

That may not play well for you in the long run...

Ya I know, I've actually thought of that. But she just seemed to stop starting it and seems as satisfied as ever with our love life.

You know...

In the right situations, I rather enjoy it. It ends up being more humorous than sexy for the most part, but it's still pretty sexy. We don't get very much into it though.

I would not want my kids reading a book written using this kind of RP as it's story...

I would not want my kids reading a book written using this kind of RP as it's story...

what kind of roleplaying are we talking about; dungeons and dragons everyone create a stereotypical LOTR character as we journey to defeat evil roleplaying? ...or i dress a hooker up as lara croft and have her talk dirty to me with a british accent and then some playtime?

OT: I believe in a healthy separation between fantasy and reality. I want to be with the person I'm with. I would not ask her to be something else for me. It would imply she wasn't good enough the way she was.

But I don't make up the rules. If you like it, go for it. What business is it of mine?

I don't mind it, but it's hard as hell to make a skill check while in the act. Hell, I have to crit on a tumble check just to get to change positions!
