Your OS?

hey guys, simple question: which operating system do you use?
i had the idea of this thread because i'll switch from windows xp to windows 7 tomorrow and i'm very sad about it. 9 years ago i started using pc's, and i started with win xp, and i never used anything else.

now you. what do you use? what was your first OS?

Still using XP here but I will probably upgrade to windows 7 soon, I certainly had no use for Vista.

started out with XP ,I think,on my parents home computer and my laptop I bought a few months ago runs windows 7.

I think my first OS was Windows 95 or 98, and I'm currently using 32bit XP.
Edit: no, actually I now vaguely remember using DOS (back when you had to type in commands) and after that, a visual-looking version of DOS where your mouse cursor was a massive red rectangle.

now i'm on 7 after a short period on ubuntu

Lol..windows is the most popular OS in the world...Also you will love the switch to Win7.

I warn you it will seem strange and take about a few days getting used to but I would NEVER go back to xp ever..i see XP at school and grimace at it..thats how much better 7 is.

Currently using XP still. Used to use DOS and Windows 3 and such back in the day. Windows ME for a while before XP, that was a crappy experience.

I'm using Windows 7, 64bit.
Used to use Windows XP and loved it before 'upgrading' to Vista and cursing that...ah fun days of blue screens...

You will be very happy with the change to 7. I have been XP for most of my life, the only OS that I used heavily was windows 98 on a computer with a broken sound card that broke optical drives. 7 removed all of those little stability and speed issues that niggled at my brain over the XP period.
