Can you show me the difference between recurve and compund archery? Google is being a *****. >:l
OT: I really don't have a passion yet. But i am extremely interested (Fascinated) by the way the human mind works. Emotionally, not physically. But i guess they overlap don't they.. Hormones and such.. Well.. Hm.. Wonder what emotions aren't created by some sort of hormo.. Memory i guess.
Yeah, any insight on that ^ too would be helpful ;P

I like it when people fall over in a really slow and awkward manner. The simple trips are good too. But when they have time to throw in a "oh no, I appear to be falling" as they are going down, that makes me happy.
History. I knew it seems a bit daft to be like ALL OF THE PAST IS AWESOME but I pretty much become infuated with periods of time and learn everything about them. I want to do my degree in History and Archaeology, how AMAZING would that be.
Compound bows hold all of the weight of the draw for you, so all you need to do is aim and shoot, recurves not only make you hold all of the weight, their also designs to have a heavier draw, so it's harder to get bullseyes consistantly.
Recurve bows require more practice and discipline because of it's lack of 'holding the weight for you' capabilities, litterally from the time you draw to the time you hit the target should be no more than 5 seconds, if it takes more time than that, your eyes begin to defocus and you have to draw again(because your body is focusing on holding a lot of weight)
Meanwhile, you can hold a compound bow and aim forever without defocusing(compound bows are allowed to have telescopic sights in competition, as well as you aren't holding a bunch of draw weight) so you need less discipline and practice.
I shoot around 210-230 on a good day with my recurve, and with a RENTED(you shoot better with your own gear, obviously) compound bow I can shoot a perfect 300 easily
Though bear in mind that compound bows are largley hunting bows, so they need to be easier to use and WAYYYY more accurate for guaranteed kill shots.
Where recurve bows are competition bows so they would naturally require more skill to use.
RECAP: compound bows are easier because they are hunting bows, recurve bows are more difficult to use accuratley because they are used for competition.
the pole thing at the front is a stabilizer and 'V wings' which make it easier to aim and keep consistency
that sight is actually a telescopic sight, so easier aiming, those wheels are called 'cams' those are what hold the weight, you're also allowed a stablizer and v wings on compounds too
I love cooking (mainly dinners (like stir-fry and saucy tasty stuff like that) and cakes (but alas, my pantry is crap (no rich cooking choolate, no butter foor butter icing, no ingredients to attempt a souffle))
I also love/hate philosophy (I enjoy the deep thinking involved but I hate all philosophers cause they always word their theories in ways which are like putting together a 2 piece puzzle but you are missing a piece (basically it makes no sense because the word it retardedly (seriously, learn to write in normal-speak)))
Writing poems, stories, articles, etc. Also, I wanna sing, only because I like to, and I write songs occasionally. Hell, I may even start a band with a friend, even if its only to jam occasionally. I also wanna write a movie screenplay and script, and the story of a videogame, just so I can finally have a what I imagine in my mind when i write, come to life on screen.
I've wanted to be a zookeeper as long as I can remember. It's just the only job I've ever been able to see myself doing. I've volunteered at zoos for years and have never had a bad day. Hell, even when I was just a glorified poop cleaner I still loved it. I'm also really interested in the behind the scenes issues that zoos face, like the politics and ethics involved with it.
Outside of my work aspirations, I also really enjoy juggling. I think that Moonie [http://www.philipearl.com/] is to blame for that one. I first saw his act when I was 10 and it looked like so much fun. I've been juggling ever since.
My passion is theater. I've been acting on stage since I was 5, and it just kind of stuck. I haven't been in a show in 3 months, though. Due to this, I'm having worse withdrawal symptoms than a recovering heroin junkie (ok, not that bad).
Performing on stage gives me a rush that I can't find anywhere else. Some of the friendships I've made during shows will last my entire life, and you simply can't beat the feeling of receiving a standing ovation.
My passion in life... I'm too negative to think of anything... I would say I adore writing short stories but then I'd be lying. I love coming up with characters and plot lines but hate actually putting it down on paper.
Not sure about the order of these, but here we go...
SCUBA diving
Biking
Good food
Friends (aka- the few people who are gracious enough to spend their time with me)
Gaming
Drugs...and how they work and their proper use in treating patients...
Good live music

In my opinion, gaming has to be one of the worst passions to have, even if its one of mine, but I am more into my saxophones, writing stories, drawing, snowboarding, soccer, and running.
...With all the other interests, gaming seems to compliment a healthy breadth of interests. Gaming = good in this case. Not so much if it's literally all you do, though.
What is your greatest passion? Can be anything, like passion for video games, writing, food, etc. Try to make serious responses. You can have a little joke, as long as you post the serious answer after.
Mine is playing music. I've played guitar for 2 years, have just started playing violin, and am willing to learn how to sing (I normally sing when I'm alone, and I think it's great fun). I realized how much I loved it around half a year ago, through my idol and source for inspiration, John 5 [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jps8fdhAHko]. I've always thought of becoming a musician, but I've always been unsure, but this man shows that it's possible with hard work and determination. It's my dream to be a professional musician, and to play on stage. Greatest thrill I know.
Same. Music is the biggest thing in my life. I know it's what I am going to do with my life, as a career, and there is nothing that can stand in my way. I'm not saying I'll get famous, but my soul wont be dying in a cubicle because I will be doing what I love.
