Eve online no doubt. If we want more traditional games, Dragon Age (the first one) I put soooo many hours into that game.

Ashamedly I'd say probably Runescape. I think last I checked before I quit it was up to about 100 days worth of time. And that was a game you couldn't idle about in.

2400 hours of grinding, what was I thinking.

Probably the original Legend of Zelda for the NES. I had that game as a kid, and I beat both quests in an age without walkthroughs or hint guides or more knowledgeable friends or anything else. I bombed every rock. I burned every tree. I pushed every boulder. I played the flute on every screen. And I did this for both of the two quests.

Oh, and I beat the game multiple times, including a "no death" run for the first quest (which technically I suppose I failed because I forgot to get the silver arrows, leaving me trapped in the last room with a dead Gannon, but close enough).

I don't have any real way of knowing how many hours I spent on that game, but I bet it numbers in the thousands.

In 30 odd years of gaming I've put a lot of time into a lot of games. Quite a few are up over the 1,000 hour mark, I'm quite certain. Starcraft, EHM, the NHL series, Civilization, XCOM...all of those series have eaten...sooo many hours.

In terms of the absolute most, though? If it's not World of Warcraft, I'd eat a hat. I can't even guess at how much time I sank into that monster. A lot. When you have no kids and your girlfriend plays the MMO with you, you'd be staggered at how much time one of those motherfuckers can gobble up.

As far as the game I have played through the most, that would likely be Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I don't know how many times I have played through it, but it's a lot, and I think I own three copies of the game in various formats.

As far as the game I have spent the most hours on, I am not sure. Probably Final Fantasy II/IV as I loved the story and have played through it 3-4 times. That or StarCraft, which I played with friends a lot in college.

I can't say for certain, but it's probably Animal Crossing on GCN. I'd only play for about an hour a day, but over at least 3 years that's over 1000 hours I spent in that world... Then there was Wild World to take over! Then City Folk!

New Vegas, probably.

Four playthroughs of about 60-80 hours each would probably add to over 300 hours total.

During high-school I played Counter Strike almost every day, so probably that. I've been playing a lot of TF2 in recent years but I don't think I played that much yet.

As for single player games, It's either Deus Ex or Oblivion. I lost count of how many playthroughs of Deus Ex I made and I remember logging over 200 hours into one of my characters in Oblivion, and that wasn't my only character.

Almost 6000 hours in GMOD- I think that's enough to beat my unknown record on my runescape account. I used to play rs addictively until my brain developed and I couldn't handle the mundanity of it all.

Minecraft or Nethack.

Both, I've put continuous weeks into over the course of several distinct years. Probably close to 1000 hours each.

Morrowind - 1.5k Hours
Oblivion - 1k Hours
Fallout 3 - 500 Hours
Dark Souls - 488 Hours (Last I checked)
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch - 450 Hours

...what have I been doing with my life?! Bethesda has claimed 2000 hours of my life.

I've easily replayed Psychonauts 5 times or so. It's just a fun game to relax and play.

Most likely Pokemon Silver. So many years of my childhood catching Entei's, raising Abra's, glitching extra TMs into the game, etc. I don't regret any of it.

That's difficult, but...most likely two games- Sonic 3 & Knuckles, which basically was my entire childhood, and I still play it at least once a year now- I lost count of how many times I finished it a very long time ago. I could practically draw the level layouts from memory.
The other one is that Zelda game. You know the one. With the Wind, and Waking it and everything? Wind Waker I think? That one. I've played Wind Waker start to finish about fifteen or so times, and that isn't including all the time I just spent screwing around in it, like seeing all the inventive ways I could knock Bokoblins off of ocean platforms.

The multiplayer game I've played most is good old Super Smash Bros. Melee, as I would play it at least once a week with my friends from 2002 to 2005, and holidays were spent playing it and other games non-stop with said friends.

However, for an actual statistic like which game I've spent the most hours playing, I really don't know.

Civ IV. Up to when V came out there was never a time i didn't have a game going (of couse I still played other things as well).

Too bad V is not as good, but with all the improvements and the expansion it is enjoyable now, just not as enjoyable.

Probably Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. Made levels for it for 5+ years, so there was a ton of testing on them, on top of actually playing in servers all of the time.
