A light-hearted version of the Will To Power. I do love me some Nietzsche! I do, I do!

1. "People are stupid"; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People?s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."

2.The greatest harm can result from the best intentions

3.Passion rules reason. Explanation: Letting your emotions control your reason may cause trouble for yourself and those around you.

4.There is magic in sincere forgiveness, the magic to heal. In forgiveness you grant, but more so, in forgiveness you receive.

5.People will lie to deceive you from what they truly mean to do. Watching the actions they take will prove their true intentions.

6."Let reason be your only sovereign."

7."Life is the future, not the past." Explanation: "The past can teach us, through experience, how to accomplish things in the future, comfort us with cherished memories, and provide the foundation of what has already been accomplished. But only the future holds life. To live in the past is to embrace what is dead. To live life to its fullest, each day must be created anew. As rational, thinking beings we must use our intellect, not a blind devotion to what has come before, to make rational choices.

8."Deserve victory." Explanation: Be justified in your convictions. Be completely committed. Earn what you want and need rather than waiting for others to give you what you desire.

9.A contradiction cannot exist in reality. Not in part, nor in whole.

10.Willfully turning aside from the truth is treason to one's self.

In sound bite form, as Gandhi put it, "Live simply that others may simply live."

My beliefs are a mixture of Darwinism and a few quotes:

"Don't Worry, Be Happy" would be a main tenet, if not the main one.

"I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it" is also one of my core beliefs.

"I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me."
That's me, quoting an 80s "teen" movie, quoting John Lennon. After all- he was The Walrus.
Seriously? I reject any attempt at pigeonholing. I have opinions from across the spectrum (like most of you) that defy neat and orderly categorization. If I have fundamental principles they're along the lines of "maximize liberty to maximize happiness," "does it work?" and "leave me alone!" in no particular order.

Yahtzee pretty much spelled my cynicism philosophy for me.

"If you just assume its shit until it can prove itself otherwise you won't get your heart broken. After all, if its good, great. But if its bad then you've lost nothing."

It doesn't matter wether you win or lose, so long as you look really cool while doing it.

Everything is a trap.
Without a doubt.

My personal philosophy is comprised of many tenets.

1. All work can be done later, no matter what the importance.

2. Find the humorous side in everything, if there is none, make one.

3. Give people second chances, after all you may need one too sometime.

4. Have a contingency plan for everything, and have a contingency plan for the contingency plans.

5. Respect people until they disrespect you.

6. There is no six.

7. Stand back out of the spotlight, things are more interesting to watch from back there.

8. I always tie my shoes, I don't need another escaltor experience.

9. If you know you're right, don't back down.

10. The people who care about you are most important, don't lose them.

11. Don't surrernder you're beliefs, if you do, you are no longer yourself.

That pretty much sums things up about my personal beliefs. Oh, and before you question number 8, its a metaphor.

'Give every chance and take every opportunity.'

This has been my philosophy for as long as i can remember, and has never failed.

And don't go trying to steal it, as far as i know i came up with it and you don't go stealing my shit.
