Wow I thought I was the only one that liked HobGoblin lol. My favourite would be Guinness and the worst I've ever had is Cherry Brandy...seriously people that stuff is sickSwny Nerdgasm said:For beers, I usually go with a Hobgoblin Ale from Wychwood Breweries or a Duchesse De Bourgogne Flemish Red Ale. As for spirits; you just can't beat a nice glass of Johnny Walker Blue Label, on the rocks of course.

I'm from Somerset, I don't really have a choice.
Depends on what you drink. If you have a lager, stick to Becks, Michelob, or Carlsberg Export. As far as ciders go, Strongbow can suck my balls. Scrumpy Jack is good, but, if you can get it, go for Aspall. Its expensive and hard to find outside of East Anglia, but worth it. The rest is personal choice really. Oh and stay away from Jagermeister... Ugh... That and Absinthe. =/Redlin5 said:I have not had a single alcoholic beverage but I will shortly be at drinking age. What should I try as my first drink? Should I expect my first drink to suck or be amazing?
Seconded.thenumberthirteen said:I'd have to go with Black Sheep Ale. Very nice. Ales are my favourite alcoholic "genre" so to speak.
I've always wondered about that beer, how's the taste? My preferred drink is a gin and tonic with a slice of lemon.TempestZ said:Tactical Nuclear Penguin

Don't worry, since trying Hobgoblin about 2 years ago I have been screaming it's merits to everyone who would listen, and have managed to make a few converts.Ramin 123 said:Wow I thought I was the only one that liked HobGoblin lol.
