Current Job: Functionality Games Tester

Been doing this at a couple different places for almost 5 years now. It's not the best paid job but it's certainly something I don't mind doing. At least I'm doing something I like and am around like minded people.

Future: Web Programmer & Massage Therapist

I've been accepted to the school I want to go to but am currently saving money so i'm not stuck taking out a big loan. I've completed my Massage therapy schooling and currently do that on my off time at home.

Quite frankly though at this point I really want to get going with my Programming schooling and am very excited for it.

Well let's see...

My first choices at GCSE were history and geography.

I went on to study Economics and Electronics at A level.

Then I studied Materials Science at Imperial College.

Now I'm a teacher of English as a foreign language. Just came back from Vietnam, and will be flying out to Japan next month.

Next year... not a clue. Probably try being a chef for a while. But I do sometimes consider games design. Games these days feel a little too factory made for my tastes, particuarly the indie ones. I'd like to make the game equivalent of Citizen Kane. Or at least Space Balls.

I'm a computer/electrical engineer and design computer chips (at a large gpu/cpu company but then moved on to a startup). I enjoy it as a profession. As well I do software (graphics and miscellaneous) as a hobby.

Definitely never my dream job, but I've worked in electronics retail for many years now. As a child I always wanted to be a programmer but after going to college for just that, I got burnt out. Now I think I'd rather do something in the writing field, just not sure what.

Im a Games Programmer, not employed at the moment but have 4 years of c++ experiance and can use 9 other programming languages if anyone wants to hire me :p

most people say to me games programming would be their dream job, and i say to them, if your prepared to give up your life and be super super stressed every single day working crazy hours up to the moment the bastard game is finished then sure its a dream.

i think my dream job would be programming games with no deadlines, no worries about money and lots of free cake :)

I'm still in secondary school and I have no idea what I want to do yet, which is troubling at my age. I will have to choose a career path soon, until then try get the best marks I can so I can pick and choose.

I'm a radio producer. Meaning I make radio commercials, voice a few of them, and other such audio-editing! I also have a foot in imaging production, which means making all the little audio pieces between songs on the radio that let you know what station you're listening to! Very very fun.

And with that, of course, comes free-lance audio production and VO work for commercials and organizations.

And I love it all.
Freakin' awesome career.
