He's basically spent all his time on that thread insulting everyone's taste in metal and flaming Sparrow Tag. He saying that that's his purpose in life.

OT: I think my purpose is just to exist, and make people remember me, what I say and what I do. Other than that, I can't think of much else other than to live.

That's sad. I remember an Escapist when we weren't constantly under siege from trolls and general twats.

Sadly, I joined too late to experience that time, but I've heard stories about it. Stories of a legendary land of peace and happiness where no one did anything wrong. Stories where you didn't need to say "Report and move on" or "Use the search bar" regularly. Brings a tear to my eye when I hear about it.

It was quite nice. I was but a tearaway fool, until the people changed me.

Same. At the start, I was just another random poster, who would just post about things that weren't logical and stupid, but these people (Like Trivun and Cpt_Oblivious) showed me the light, and I realised where I was wrong and sent myself in the right direction.

God bless em' ;D Speaking of whom it is funny how we have our select group of well known posters, like Trivun and Cpt_Oblivious, as well as Max, D_987 , etc.

Well, that's because they are regular posters on the forums. They appear all over the off-topic section and as a result, people get to know them well and they become famous in the forums.

I have no definite purpose as I see it. At least, not that was given to me by anyone or anything, but that doesn't bother me. I'm here to do what I want to/can, and I'll do that.

I continue to exist- or at least, take measures to ensure that I will- because I like being alive. There are people I talk to and enjoy being around, people I care about, people who care about me, and fun things like paintball and lazertag and video games and all that junk. It's stuff I'd not want to give up.

Ask me at any different moment and what drives me will be different. Right now it's (odd though this is going to sound) the prospect of love. Another day it may be wanting companionship, another it may be being hungry or wanting to do something.
