Are you playing online? Calling in phantoms is seriously the best. I beat Sen's Fortress first try 'cause of a phantom. Oh, and have fun with the Anor Londo boss.Rylot said:Finally made it through Sen's Fortress in Dark Souls. That's actually been my sticking point the last few times I played through the game. Also made it through the Dragon Archers in Anor London on only my third try. God, I'm terrible at this game.
Honestly I disconnected from Xbox live after the third time I got invaded in Dead Burg. Too many dicks farming Humanity off of new players left a really bad taste in my mouth. Plus this way it forces me to take it slow and learn the enemies patterns and I get quite a bit of accomplishment from that. I'm usually the type of player who spams one attack in a game and cheeses his way past everything so with this game I'm trying to do it 'right'.EcoEclipse said:Are you playing online? You can't do PvP while Hollowed, so you don't need to disconnect entirely. I spent the vast majority of the early game as a Hollow because I figured being invaded isn't any fun. I have a PS3, so maybe Live is a different case altogether, but you should be safe from dick invasions for the most part. Although Anor Londo is a good hotspot for that, as I understand.Rylot said:Honestly I disconnected from Xbox live after the third time I got invaded in Dead Burg. Sounds like you'd want some help doing the co-op maps on Crushing.Catfood220 said:I recently completed Uncharted 2 on Crushing to get the platinum trophy. That was a frustrating time.
I guess it's good to know that it is possible to not fail at that game, even if my own experience tells me otherwise.Padwolf said:I did a great round of League of Legends with Mundo. 17 Kills, 1 death and 18 assists. I felt so proud of myself.
Haha keep at it! It's takes a lot of practice and thinking to get the hang of it, just play carefully and try out all the champions twice, try them out against bots first if you are unsure about them, and find the one that suits your style of play. It's taken me ages to succeed at that game, and I'm only playing competently. But it depends on the team you are with too.leet_x1337 said:I guess it's good to know that it is possible to not fail at that game, even if my own experience tells me otherwise.Padwolf said:I did a great round of League of Legends with Mundo. 17 Kills, 1 death and 18 assists. Well, I know I'm never touching Ezreal again in case I have to solo mid against a full-runed Kass again. Besides that, I do already have a lot of theory stuff down; it's just that practice (in PvP at least) murders me every single time. Which is exactly why I haven't moved past melee/fighter - if I try playing a role that I don't know as well, then that's just going to make everything worse.Padwolf said:Haha keep at it! Have you tried playing as Mundo? He was the first fighter I really tried. I fed hard at first, my first ever game with him I had about 15 deaths and 0 kills haha. He is a powerhouse, it will be hard for the other players to take you down if you build him well. He is quite easy to learn too and a lot of fun. Also I have found that when you play as him people start to run away from you haha.leet_x1337 said:Well, I know I'm never touching Ezreal again in case I have to solo mid against a full-runed Kass again. (Sometimes I do play solo mid as well, as mentioned above, but if it's not against bots then I generally feed.)
