Terraria: killed The Eater of Worlds (3 times) and Skeletron yesterday (both easy peasy) and created a Hellevator (encountered more water than should be allowed).

I hate it when I get water in my Hellevator.
Have you begun building a runway for Wall of Flesh yet? You should, it's really handy. Lets you farm him after a while.

Well. I just logged on Guild Wars 2 for the last Beta Event today, and discovered that my Norn Mesmer, the only character I have been playing for all the events so far was deleted.

A friend also lost all his characters, and we started anew as Sylvari. He became a Elementalist, and I became a Guardian. We quickly leveled up to level 5, and then went on a rampage against several level 7 Drakes with shovels. Because shovels are OP.

Then we raided a Nightmare Court base, him with a staff, me with a shovel. I love that shovel.

Well, I know I'm never touching Ezreal again in case I have to solo mid against a full-runed Kass again. Besides that, I do already have a lot of theory stuff down; it's just that practice (in PvP at least) murders me every single time. Which is exactly why I haven't moved past melee/fighter - if I try playing a role that I don't know as well, then that's just going to make everything worse.

(Sometimes I do play solo mid as well, as mentioned above, but if it's not against bots then I generally feed.)

Have you tried playing as Mundo? He was the first fighter I really tried. I fed hard at first, my first ever game with him I had about 15 deaths and 0 kills haha. He is a powerhouse, it will be hard for the other players to take you down if you build him well. He is quite easy to learn too and a lot of fun. Also I have found that when you play as him people start to run away from you haha.

Tristana isn't a melee/fighter, but she's a powerful little thing, easy to use and you can kick butt with her. She also has that rocket jump ability that you can use to jump away from players and escape.

Just keep assessing the situation you are in, and stay by your turret if you are unsure of things.

I tried (edit: several) games with Tristana and got my ass kicked every single time. Haven't tried Mundo, but I can sort of play Garen or Riven, and I've managed like maybe once or twice to solo mid with Ashe. ...Heck, maybe that was just a one-off and my biggest problem is falling to pieces from one failure. Which I do in every other little thing in real life, so.

Well I've recently beaten Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. Now I'm playing through the New Game plus and working on the Colony 6 reconstruction side quest.

OT: I sacrificed myself in a game of Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. I was at the extraction zone, surrounded.

In order to save my team, I fired my missile launcher at my feet, intending to blow both me and the enemies sky high, like the amazing dashing hero I am.

Turns out, you can't kill yourself with it.. but it was cool because the enemies died anyway >

Haven't yet explored much of the Underworld yet, but I think I will. Seems much easier than having to jump over all those structures down there. But I think I'll go mine some meteorites and explore the Jungle and the Dungeon again before I go down there again. At least I'll have enough water to make obsidian.

Yesterday I finished Splinter cell conviction on realistic difficulty without dying. Wasn't intentional but something I realized during the credits. One of those "that's kinda neat!" moments.

I pretty much only lurk here(as you can tell) but i'd be willing to play a game with you if you need someone to play with.

I recently completed Uncharted 2 on Crushing to get the platinum trophy. That was a frustrating time.

Tell me about it. The only frustrating bits for me were carrying Jeff, Draza and the guardians. Lazarevic was easy as hell even though I had to run around a crapton.
