Endless Ocean was a pretty neat and relaxing game. The music got old real fast, but you can play your own while you scuba dive and discover fish etc..

I only picked it up because I am a biology nerd, and ended up really enjoying this game. Exploring the abyss in that game was actually a little freaky, but it was definitely the most relaxing game I have ever played.

Could you please turn off the Edna music, I can't take it!
Yeah, I never played the game but X-Play pretty much told everything I needed to know about that game and I knew I wouldn't like it. The music alone in the previews made me steer away from it.

I hate you for this. I have a 3500 word paper due tomorrow that I haven't started and I can't very well start it now.

My relaxation game is, or was until now, Burgertime.

I do apologise, that game took an afternoon of my life x]

It's taken about that from me now as well. Everytime I've gotten bored today at my computer I resort to that game.

Painkiller or Fallout 3 with a god weapon. If you have something that kills any enemy you run across in one shot, it is almost impossible to be pissed off. Plus, the VATS kills are great therapy tools.

If it hasn't already been said (I haven't checked through th whole thread to be honest)
anything by nifflas, the best in my opinion are Nytt and Within a Deep Forest, so relaxing, yet enough there to keep your brain amused with hours of open ended exploration .

Also found one game recently that's very relaxing, (more indy games), it's called "Phyta", but as a warning, there is no end to this game, only a first few levels then loads of the same thing

Either I mess about in the CryEngine 2 Sandbox, or I go mining in a high security system in EVE Online. Mining is one of the most mindless tasks ever, and the music in EVE is really relaxing and soothing, take my time reading a book or something similar, just occasionally dumping my cargo into my industrial.
