I've been running a theme of iconic video game themes for my phones I pull them from the source myself (not buy ringtones). My last two were the Super Mario Bros (original NES version) ring tone. I'd collect a coin when someone texted me. Get a mushroom when my datebook notifies me of something. Drop a flag from its poll (the fanfare part). Oh, and for a while, I had work set to the underground theme.

Currently, it's Final Fantasy 7 victory fanfare. On backup, is FF6 boss music.

I have mixed feelings about using the 'I've been spotted' sound from MGS as the first time I heard it used as a text tone I was at the laundry-mat and some douche-bag had it on. I mean like Tool-Academy rank douche.

It saddened me.

Most of mine are Coheed and Cambria based. Can't go wrong with hearing them when someone calls. Except when the song(s) get stuck in your head.

OT: I'm one of those people that have different ringtones for different people.

Currently my text one(since that's what I hear the most) is the chorus from "Who Watches the Watchmen?" by The Prize Fighter Inferno. I'm not gonna post the song. We all know no one goes through and listens anyway.

Mostly it vibrates in my pocket (in a somewhat disturbing way) but when I do use a ringtone, I switch between Aces High and Seek and Destroy. Occasionally I use Caramelldansen. >.> Don't judge me.

A couple of months ago, I put together a bunch of clips of the Scout and so I have a ringtone that goes, 'Yo, incoming! Look at me! Look at me! Hey, look at me, ma, look at me!' Over and over and over. That is why I no longer use it.

Do you still have it somewhere? I would use that. So hard.
