Nah, loaded up Fallout 2 instead.

For me? Probably the Brotherhood of Steel-type set up... only for Biology.

So I'd end up being the "Master" I guess. Just need to keep my eye out for protaganists running around blowing my stuff up.

I would settle down with nice radiation ghoul or drifter and start a family and have mutant Twinkie that managed to achieve sentient life as a pet. As for a job I would be an artist with my main themes being the wastelands and tropical pre-apocalypse landscapes.

A survivor. I'm a firefighter/EMT, I'm sure some of that is going to help. Only trouble is I probably won't live past the initial doom since I will be one of the people responding to whatever is going on. If I happen to live through that, then I should do just fine. Move to the north where whatever happened hasn't had a major effect and live off the land.

A mercenary? a scientist? a commoner to a new society? ETC. How would you adapt to/ exploit the post apocalyptic world.

The combat medic who have too much good luck/karma, and walk out of firefights without a scratch because of it.

Hate to tell you this but the apoc would most likely only affect the North. If it is nuclear the bombs will almost certainly fall on the North and with the Earth having different jet streams in the North and South, the North would get all its own nuclear waste, you should move below the equator

The same applies with climatic change, most ice-ages haven't affected the South.

Oh, I would probably try to take over the world too, and shape it to my liking or whatever. But mostly to annoy people who would prefer to be dead.
