I used to have a vibrant social life with plenty of friends, then my ex cheated on me. When I broke up with her she told all of our friends that I raped her (we were together for 5years) and they took her side. I was heart-broken, very depressed, and left with no friends. At University I had a few people on the Track & Field team and in my program that I'd hang out with but they all moved away after getting their degrees. Now days I only meet people through my job, or co-workers think "I'd be perfect for" someone and try to get me hooked up. I work with good people, but no one I'd want to go to a Pub or Movie with.

On a nearly unrelated note, nearly 7 years since the cheating one wrecked my social life she sent me a message on facebook apologizing for what she did to me because she's "found God" (her words) and now needs to atone. I wondered what brought that about and did a little digging. Seems she cheated on the guy she married and he got the kids they had; after a blood test (she ordered to try to keep the kids) turned out he wasn't the Father of the oldest one, that proved infidelity and the judge overturned the alimony requirement. She got custody of the oldest and tried to find out who the daddy is to try to get child support. She found the guy then he, and his wife, took her to court for custody and WON. She owes support now for 3 kids she doesn't get to see all but a couple days a month. So it turned out she contacted me as part of court ordered therapy for self destructive behavior (couldn't find out how that came about). I wish I was making this up, almost makes me believe in karma.

A few of the friends from the break-up incident have also since apologized to me but they can all go choke on their own vomit for all I care, losers never went to school and all work minimum wage.

Long side-story short I just work and then it's time for internet and games, with an occasional fling with a new girl in the office here and there to round things out.
what a ***** I can only feal sorry for you.
but great story.

OT: I´m married and work all the time, so my social life is mostly the people I work whit and my wife. I hang whit friends occasionally but not as mutch as I used to

I've never really had a social life during my teenage years so recently I figured I may as well throw that spare time into studying and I'm glad I did.

I go out I'd say 5 out of 7 days of a week. I'm more of a party guy than a clubber, if that makes sense, but I go to the clubs a fair bit. I have an extremely diverse group of friends, and I have friends in families that are the top of the food chain in my city, so I have a good social status. I'm sort of a starbucks type, if you know what I mean.

I go out drinking with my friends if I have money. If I don't I stay in and watch TV, films, do some homework and play games. I enjoy the solitude that getting into some history or maths works brings.

Oh I also read books now.

I have a decent social life, I have a group of good friends that I go out with when I feel like it. I just don't always feel like it, I'd rather stay by myself most of the time.

I never had a social life until i was about 17 then i actually spoke to people.

But to be honest the people i became freinds with are fairly dull. All they are interested in drinking at the weekend. NOTHING during the week. I need a bit of veriety and excitement in my life, i don't want to live in Groundhog Day.

Plus they have no interest in trying to speak to new people or females so any chance of me meking new friends or meeting a girl when i'm with them is quite low.

I dont really do anything outside of going to uni lectures and pretending to study. Oh I tell a lie, I listen to my parents explain to me in great detail how my lack of a social life replects badly on them. I spend alot of time watching videos online but not much else ( and yes, im aware that im pathetic)

I usually just play music. Sometimes I'll go out with friends for drinks 'n stuff, but it's more of a rarity these days.

Well I recently broke up with my girlfriend so my social life essentially revolves around my best buddy and one or two other people. Mall, movies, and other normal 18 year old shenanigans.

I tend to enjoy solitude, my everyday life is usually to full of things that I generally like peace and quiet when I come home... Well peace and quiet means me spending some alone time with my headphones on. But I go out to the pubs with some friends a least once a month. I used to go out more back in the day.
My weekday life is full of 10-hour work days and running errands. I am however lucky, since many of my friends are also my co-workers, we try to make time to goof around as often as we can during work hours. And when I come home, I have a fiancée and two pets waiting for me at home.

High school keeps me pretty busy. I have a decent amount of friends that I talk to there. When I'm not in school I either go to a buddy's place, buddies come to my place, I go out with the girl, or we stay in; that's usually on the weekends though. A majority of the week outside of school I'm usually in my room on these here "interweb" forums or in my living room playing games.

The last time I did anything with friends was when the last Harry Potter came out. Before that early July. I have next to no social life.
