Do Twitter and Facebook count as social life ? :D
I want to believe so considering that's how I've known 99% of the interesting people I met in real life in the past years :)

Hell even my new intern comes from my twitter followers.

The thing about me is that most people consider me a weirdo and the people that want to hang out with me are pretty weird them selves.
Not that I don't like that, I in fact love it.
But I like being alone, reading a book or having a woman in my arms, either way, then I'm happy.

School.

And I have a few friends I've started hanging out with a lot more - also I have my boyfriend, we have a distance relationship, but he has a great circle or friends and when I'm over at his place we all hang out and it's great.

Most of my interests are pretty isolating though, I'm an artist, a gamer and occasionally I write too. I love discussion however - so that keeps me seeking human contact. Otherwise I'd probably be shut in this very room I'm in now a lot more(which wouldn't be to much more, tbh...).

I've gotten bored of drinking, especially in large groups. I tend to meet up with one or two friends at a time and just lounge around, watching a movie or gaming.
That being said, I do like going to a pub for a beer now and then, or going to a concert.

I usually keep to myself, however.

My social life isn't bad, actually. There are always at least two people that I can call at pretty much any time and hang out with, if need be. That said, I generally only go out once a week, and it's usually to the same bar where I listen to jazz music and hang out with some friends from the music program. Ah yeah. It's not even a snobby jazz bar, either - it's a pub! A regular pub where they celebrate Alexander Keith's Day.

I live on a beach, it's awesome, spend 90% of time there in the summer, in fact I'm only here cause it's winter, but by this time of year I'm back to my skinny, nerdy self, got some good gaming done in the recent months though. Man I can't wait for the summer.
*gasp* I now know where my life is going to go from here. I won't need a social life if I can go swimming every day!

I live in my school dorms nowadays, so I have little choice but to be social, and for the most part, it works. I'm not Mr.Popular, and I spend a fair time in my room (after so and so many years of being alone, suddenly you get used to some alone time) either gaming, watching series online or browsing the escapist. Since the school is in a very small place with only one pub, I don't drink very often (that and I'm trying to not blow all my money <.< there are NO job openings around here) although I may visit the pub all the same just to be social. Best friend lives back where I came from, admittedly not far, so I visit him when I can.

I don't have much of a social life. I do go to two different clubs at university once a week, and I have a few friends I meet every once in a while. Most of the time I spend alone.

I would like to have a larger social life, but the painful fact is that most of what is considered a social life is unappealing to me. I absolutely love talking to people and being with a smaller group of people that I know (preferably not exceeding 3-4 people including me). But if it means going to drink, partying, or something similar, I'm just plain not interested.

Luckily most of my friends are people that aren't interested in this kind of thing, or that they don't mind just meeting to talk once in a while.

I'm not invited to a lot of functions, but when I am I have trouble getting to them. And I'm broke. So yeah, my social life is almost nonexistant. :(

my social life can pretty much be summed up as being the first called to help do work, or fix a computer, or something is needed and the first to be "forgotten" about when there is a party, movie, or other social gathering. So games, school work, and job hunting takes up my time.

So what do I do besides my hobbies and education that involves seeing friends?
Nothing, should I be?

I have no social life. I'm trying to make new friends. Well, "trying" in the sense that I'm trying to muster up the courage to start a conversation with one of these people I've been smiling over-enthusiastically at as they pass me in the hall.

I chose to live in a dorm for the sake of being in a communal environment, but so far all I've done is make polite back and forth between people whose names I still don't know after 3 months. At least when classes are in I can't pretend the reason I have no friends here is that I'm just busy. We've been snowed in for 3 days here and all I've done is blow through a quarter of my (admittedly meager) x-mas game haul.

In the latter years of high school I was finally starting to make friends that I felt really close to. And as soon as I left I discovered my absolutely herculean ability to not keep up. And you'd think I'd have a better time of it now that I've relented and gotten on Facebook.

I hate myself, but I seize up with fear at the idea of asking someone to come over and "hang out." It's too much like a date without actually being one. I just don't know how to be.

Since this is the Holidays and excluding said things, I study or listen to music. At times I go to the Mall or go somewhere with my friends.

I'm a very social person at school, though I have a somewhat limited social life because school and extra extracurriculars keep me very busy. But Yeah, I'd say I get a healthy amount of social interaction.
