Your stupid gaming habits that get you killed...

REloading after every kill, and staying put for too long.

I do, however, tend to play a sniper and find a good spot, and then stay in zoom mode while the enemy can casually walk up to me from the side and shoot me in the head pointblank, without me noticing it until I'm staring at the respawn timer...

I feel far more 1337 to kill with pistols instead of heavy ordinance... but I'm not 1337, and thus die... frequently.

My death doesn't come in game, it comes after I die in game and then realize that I haven't save my place in six hours....

Oh, and this. All too often...!

Chronic reloading at the wrong time. I also like to get as close to an edge of a dropoff and look over it to see how deep it is causeing me to inch forward to far and falol to my death.

I like jumping off things, to test survivability and whether or not that ledge is actually jump-to-able.

What stupid habits can you never seem to break out of?

Personally I have three, all multiplayer related:

1. I get too eager to get to the action and run around corners, usually straight into a ninja with a P90 or a sniper bullet to the head.

2. Every time I get a kill I automatically, habitually hit reload (even if my clip is almost full) and THEN sprint away after the reload animation finishes.

3. Revenge-rushing on campers. Instant double-humiliation.

I have the same problems with the last 2, I ALWAYS reload, well atleast most of the time.

I usually revenge ruch campers once, then I just huck a grenade and pop them when they come out.

EDIT: I also only go for headshots as a sniper, the way I see it, if you can't get a headshot, then you shouldn't be sniping, thus i take my time.

I just basically run out in the middle of the map and not pay attention to me being shot at... >.> Also while I'm in the middle of the map I forget about running out of ammunition and end up stupidly reloading as someone is shooting at me...

mine is running into rooms and shoot quite often ill startle hte guy as much as he scares me and we both end up fireing bullets every where... gota learn to use my knife

I always reload after every kill, to eager rushing in, stay in the same places for to long, I always use the same weapons even tho I know certain stages/maps puts me at a big disadvantage, if I see any kind of loot I forget all my survival instincts.

The last one has gotten me killed sooo many times.

I have to agree. I have always joked about being a pirate but it hit me playing diablo the other day that I AM a pirate. especially if there is gold around I HAVE to pick it up......its......shiny.........i enjoy pillaging, plundering and stuff.......

Also not paying attention to my health til its almost too late

Running into a mass group of enemies and fighting and continually dying every time i do it.....and screaming DIE YOU FUCKERS!

in fps games, always carrying one, fully loaded power-weapon throughout the level in case of a boss or difficult challenge and using a rahter basic weapon for everything else. and then when the challenge comes around i neglect using the power weapon
