Why do people lie and act like you can get used games ridiculously cheaper than new ones? They're $3-5 cheaper than buying new. That's it, no cheaper.

I only would buy them off my friends, then I can easily get my money back off them, I don't know about buying them from a store.

Slightly cheaper than buying brand new and you can usually find games that aren't sold anymore (well harder to find anyway)

I personally do buy used games quite often, however, i never really play any of them....hmmmm

Of course! I bought Dark Cloud 1 and 2 for 4.99 each, and they gave me 100 hours of great playtime.

Well, today I managed to pick up 4 games (Gears of War, Gears of War 22, Halo 3 and Fable 2) for £21. I managed to do this by buying them as pre-owned games, rather than buying them new at a much higher price. I'm not afraid to buy them as pre-owned because I know that if they don't work, I can send them back for a refund. I also trust the place I get them from enough to think that their test to make sure they work is good enough.

So, what do you think about pre-owned games? Do you think they're a safe buy or aren't worth the bother?

Note: All games were bought for XBOX360.
Gears of War 22!?!?! OMFG HE'S FROM THE FUTURE!!! ;)

OT: Well I suggest you inspect the disc when you recieve it before you leave the store. Other then that, aint nothin wrong with gettin games cheaper. Only people who hate on you for it are the corporate bigwigs because they lose cash from you not buying a completley new game.
