My personality is really impermanent...

We all change. We're often different people even just when other people are around. I've sometimes worried that there's no core 'me' just various aspects of self that I present to people, but even if that was true (and I don't think it is, I think there's a central me) it wouldn't be too much of a problem. you're your experiences, memories, emotions, all adjusted by how you feel at the time, and altered further by your present circumstances. From all that, something that is cohesively you and stretches back for years still exists. It's quite amazing, when you think about it. Even though you don't have a single brain cell you had 10 years ago, you're still you.

Yeah, it's weird - but you wouldn't be who you are now if you hadn't been who you were at 16. Oddly, that thread showed me that I've not really changed all that much... I can recognise myself now in my actions then - for better or worse. It was a bit triggering though. Ack. Shit. Yeah, it was. >>

I passed my badminton level 1 coaching course and to get a pass they have to mark you as competent. I've been using that word everywhere now, because I'm so f*****g competent.
