I know Thursday comes before it, Saturday afterwards, and on an opinionated note, I'm rather fond of it as it's the last day of the school week.
And yet, they're still giving money to someone, validating their presence. As far as reasons go, it's a pretty bad one.Jack and Calumon said:It's a joke. The song is bad. It was made with good intentions but when she says "Friday" it sounds like a crow just died. Also it sounds more like "Fried Egg".
The video is just flat out bad from start to finish, what with Standing in the car on the highway, nothing really happening, awkward dancing girl, random black guy making a cameo despite I have no idea who it is and the girl is wearing enough make up to keep even the sluttiest of whores pleased.
The lyrics are terrible, like that joke in Family Guy with that man who sings what he sees, except she's being serious.
But what annoys me the most, is that the girl herself is an okay singer, yet the amount of Autotune is ridiculous so that she sounds like she is just being the worst singer in the world.
All the people who have watched and bought the song are not laughing along because the song is touching or awesome, they are laughing at it, because it is by far the worst music I have heard in my life.
Calumon: ...Jack's scaring me...
Any post afterwards is now invalid. Thank you.Sassafrass said:Allow me to present man not caring. [http://www.gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs4/1803807_o.gif]
Good day.

What in the fuck are you talking about? She's absolutely dire. The Unworthy Gentleman said:This. Simply by watching this video you can see that the girl herself is actually pretty good. She is either going to be ruined because the song is horrifically bad or she is going to be the next sensation because when you get past the autotune she isn't bad. She's Disney Channel material, she has a demographic to target, if they can cut the autotune and just get her to sing then she'll be popular and will be the next big thing; if, that is.Jack and Calumon said:But what annoys me the most, is that the girl herself is an okay singer, yet the amount of Autotune is ridiculous so that she sounds like she is just being the worst singer in the world.

EDIT: That freeze frame is... indescribably unlucky.
I actually found that remarkably helpful. I stopped organising things on Wednesdays, foolishly believing that that was the day between Friday and Saturday. Now if only she'd mentioned where Monday and Tuesday fall, I'd be sorted.AmrasCalmacil said:Friday... Friday... Comes after Thursday. Saturday follows after and then Sunday.
The music video is awful, and so is the video above. She has no talent, and doesn't even deserve the negative attention she's getting. Just let her fade away into obscurity. Talking about it will only make her more popular, and we'll have Justin Bieber with a vagina running around. Oh wait... we already do.The Unworthy Gentleman said:This. The uncut version is at least BETTER then the normal one. Ugh. The normal one is so bad it makes me cry and laugh. The Unworthy Gentleman said:This. It's a huge hit because absolutely everybody hates it. That should make you HAPPY.pwnzerstick said:In case you haven't heard,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD2LRROpph0
Soooo, yeah at 22 million views of this upon posting, this is the song that has become popular for all the wrong reasons. I would say that it shows everything wrong with pop music today, the reliance on autotune, the monotone singing, the blatant resembalance to a certain Justin Bieber song; but most of all, and what gets on my nerves the most is that peoples standards for music has gone so low that anyone with the money to buy off some producers can autotune themselves singing about drinking and partying. They then go on to become huge hits even though they don't have an ounce of talent.
