Yeah, I don't get it either, I work as an internet radio DJ (on http://gamer.fm if you're curious) and I've had several people literally begging me to play this song. I just don't understand people sometimes.
I couldn't... stop... watching it.... and now I need to go wipe the blood out of my ears.

If she makes any money from this, I hope she saves it. I really don't see a second hit with that vocal range, unless she turns out to be a good rapper or something.
I can see how pre-teen girls would love it, it seems like something relatable when all you worry about is BFF's, stickers, gum and passing notes in class. Still, nothing that anyone older can latch on which means she may end up Disney Channel to obscurity.

It's a joke, it has got to be a joke.
And even if it isn't, it gives me hope. Keep in mind that it's become famous not because people like it, but because people agree it's absolutely terrible. So for all the bad taste, at least the masses still have some sense.

Can anybody else detect this becoming another Justin Bieber? They both began as hits on youtube.
Aaaanyway, the songs awful, autotune wrecked it so now she sounds like she's strangling a cat everytime she says Friday. But I guess you could say she's an OK singer at best if they didn't add in so much autotune.
