ahh remember all the initial commercials with red, green, blue, and black wiis around launch time? well they've got one of them out after how many yrs? the wii is fun, but yea. not a big deal.

I always thought the wii looked really good aesthetic wise, however, thats not whats holding backs sales, Nintendo, you need to improve the SOFTWARE lol.
Before anyone gets too obsessed over their anger on Nintendo selling a black Wii, over how 'Nintendo is always the one to do this', allow me to point this out for those who forgot.
At least Nintendo didn't pull this sort of bad advertising.
I had only known of a white Wii on launch. I had never seen ads for different colored ones.
There is at least one member on this forum who will probably buy a Wii now that it is black. No, not me, I already own one. However I distinctly remember a post from someone who said that they would buy one if it was black to fit in with their black ps3 and black xbox. I am sure that the mere color, the 'Wii of the dark side' will be a deciding factor for others as well this holiday season.

They should have had different colours at launch. Remember all those different Wii colours shown before launch we never saw? Yeah.
As far as I know, the wii doesn't support skins. Unless you count skins and 'stickers you put over the existing white plastic the wii is covered in'.rokkolpo said:

It angers me that the video-game industry almost never gives you many color options when releasing consoles. I mean, Nintendo finally got the hint when they released the new DSi and at least gave us four colors to choose from. I'm not asking for a rainbow of colors. I just want to be able to choose between three or four things. Is it really that hard to change the color of the console case?
