1. The "Halo" series
-Mainly because I've had so many memories playing those games. Never before have I screamed at my headset out of joy and fear and excitement at the oncoming zombie hordes in Halo 3 custom matches. Or constantly pushing to get one more match in before bed during the wee hours of the night in Halo 2
2. Bioshock
-I could talk about the marvels of this game for hours. But I don't want to bore you, and im sure most of the gaming community has already experienced this true marvel. Key point: It's story
3. GoldenEye 64
-This is the game that got me into the FPS genre. Waking up those early mornings to play with my brother and my dad, Golden gun only for most of the day. Games like GoldenEye will never get old, and I'm sure somewhere out there, someone is playing it right now.
4. Battlefield Bad Company (1 and 2)
-These two games showed me that something could not only be competitive, but a helluva lot of fun. Playing gold rush for literally hours on end, or trying to capture all the points in a conquest match is such a rewarding thing, because the matches are usually so close, it actually feels like a victory when you win, not just the end of another match.
5. Fallout New Vegas
-I picked this one mainly because when i first played Fallout 3, I was too young and nieve to fully understand what was going on. The concept of "Go anywhere, do anything" was new to me and I felt completely overwhelmed. When i played NV however, i finally got into it and frankly it blew me away. I must have put more than 80 hours into that game and I wouldn't complain about a single one.
6. Rage
-Rage's combat system was nothing new, shoot the bad guys before you die, advance to the next room, repeat. For some reason though, playing Rage actually made me feel like I was ina deserted wasteland. I felt like my life was on the line, I actually had some remorse for blowing away the mutants, It wasn't their fault they were mutants...If only the ending didn't suck.
7. Time Crisis (All)
-This one may be a bit weird, but for those of you who don't know, Time Crisis used to be the main series of shooting games you would play at arcades. You'd take the littl3e plastic gun and shot your way through mobs of enemies, trying to dodge the stray bullets that would hit you. I loved this game so much I even went out and bought a hom copy with my own gun.
That's all that are coming to me right now, so let's call this my top 7
