1)Still Alive from Portal. It's just plain cute and clever. Seriously, if you haven't checked out Jonathan Coulton's other stuff then I recommend you do. He's on Pandora so you can even sample other stuff.
2)Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2. Say what you will about the game's quality, but an 80s hair metal song perfectly encapsulates the cheesy kind of cool that has burned Sonic into our mind
3)The Legend of Zelda theme. Seriously, why hasn't this been mentioned? This was the first -real- piece of music in a game.
4)One-Winged Angel from Final Fantasy VII. I actually hate the Final Fantasy series, but this music is just powerful in ways that few film scores are, let alone video game scores.
5) The Super Smash Brothers Brawl theme. I don't know what it is, but the sweeping orchestral theme just makes the game feel so much more epic.
